Excuse me for spamming the forum with my topics..!! *sunny effect* 😃

Kumari- unke dost ne aake sabko surprise kar diya, hai na??

Kumud- Sabse bada surprise tau ye hai, ki unka koi dost bhi hai..!!!

LOL Good one Kumud ! 😆

So the surprise from Dubai FINALLY made an entry.. In this busy household dominated by women, it was hightime Saras got some male company.. VC kaka is too elderly and respectable for Saras to sit and have some fun talk about hot chicks in Dubai office..Gyan bhai ka kya karein? always busy straining his vocal chords and others ear drums for nothing !! Yash bhai has changed sides , has become creepy and sketchy, unusually quite and he now gives vibes of hostility.. Saras better stay away from him..So who better than Sunny to give Saras much needed smiles and distraction from his ' keep away from Kumud '' mission..

He is amiable and easy going.. bonded with everyone around him...even Gyan bhai LOL '' Aap tau star hai, bas din mein nikalna baki hai '' 😆 He even got along with the girls of the house..They smiled.. OMGGG even Kumud smiled at his jokes.. 😳 Saras just had to pick an urgent call from nowhere at that precise moment.. ! Felt a little left out Saras? You bet! Suddenly the ever charming and flamboyant Sunny is everywhere..!!! Damn he even made Kumud win the game..😡

Waiting for more such pleasant surprises ! :D

😆😆
One proof, that all may not be lost on 'relationships and superstition front!😆

Some relevant informations,
Chandrakant, his name in the book, was one who always stood rock solid by his friend, who was badly entangled in the webs of his own making (and Guman's in small part). The friend was married. Wife's name Ganga. It was he who discovered lost Saraswati Chandra then living in Suvarnapuri under alias Navin Chandra ( symbolic; new person). Author has used good this character to give insight on SC and his actions.
Just as name is changed here to Sunny (as well his marital status), one of rare occurrence in this adaption, wish they do use this character to pair him with Kusum- her younger sister. In book too he was brotherly devoted to Kumud and her alliance to SC.

the present SC track is very much different from the original SC novel or the SC film as well...i think they will use different events altogether to bring twist in the tale ...they have bought the rights of the novel and now they will re write in there very own way yet keep the soul of novel alive ...which is Saraswatichandra and his affinity to lok kalyan and brahmcharya and his pious unending love for Kumud

SLB has made it clear that he is treating Saraswatichandra as a passionate love story of Saras and Kumud ...thats why when Kusum comes to Saras with tea instead of Kumud ...here in the show Saras knows it already that she is not Kumud ...but in original novel and film Saras did get confused and mistook Kusum for Kumud for a while

So this proves SLB is in full mood of giving us what we want a passionate love story of Saras and Kumud...so may we will see Kusum Sunny together helping sparks fly !!!!!

Thank you for the relevant information smrth. Much appreciated :) I had to share this with you since you brought up the idea of Kusum pairing up with Sunny.. To begin with Kusum's characterisation in the show is not well etched in my opinion..Kusum being Kumud's sister and apparently so close to her has no clue what's going on in her sister's life.. I agree she doesn't know a lot of things that have transpired between the two but sisters are like soulmates/ friends.. Not always but in this show they seem to be very fond of each other with genuine love and care., which is why I expect Kusum to be more aware of the situation she is in.. The only time I heard Kusum say anything sensible and meaningful so far was the night when Kumud was regretting sending Saras to the lake..Other than that I have never seen Kusum try and understand or even pick any clue about what her sister is going through...If Dukhba could sense the tension between them , then why not Kusum? She did notice that Saras didnt take rajma and water from Kumud but she analysed the situation completely wrong.. She is not even childish and immature like Kumari...so I cant even forgive her for saying that not only his letter but every act of his has rejection for you..How can she not gauge her sister's feelings when she said that despite of the rejection and humiliation she has to face , she WILL help him...how come that thought isnt even crossing her mind that her sister is in love with the guy.. Why is the guy stuck in their house for over a month, ready to take blame of others, saving their father...is all of that out of good will? My rant was to back my opinion that I don't find Kusum a good match for Sunny...I am sorry..I think Sunny is too good for her.. even though he is funny and fooling around most of the time but he has a much better understanding of Saras Kumud despite of not being with them all this while than Kusum who despite of being in the same house seems to know nothing..even if she knows she does nothing to assist them or their relationship like Kumari does..

@ bold - CVs have dropped enough hints by Kusum saying she will marry Saras if Kumud will not marry him in the first few weeks itself IMHO. I find her behavior with Saras strange and it scares me that the story here might follow the novel🤢. DO you remember the time she took tea for Saras the day he landed in Desai haveli? Her walk, demeanour etc was provocative to put it mildly. I doubt she ever thought of Saras as a jija (she knew about the letter but thats another topic) CVs gave some confusing signs in the beginning of which one of the sisters Saras will land up with!! For now the CVs seem to have kept the option open and will decide the course based on the audience reaction.

For siblings to be so close and for Kusum to not pick up on Kumud's feelings for Saras is really weird. But then the CVs go around in circles with Saras and Kumud as well.
Saras knows he loves Kumud
Saras knows Kumud loves him
Kumud knows she loves Saras (may not acknowledge to herself)
Kumud knows Saras loves/cares for her.
Then these two have memory lapses and keep wondering why he or she is going out of their way to help/ support/ care for the other. So Kusum might be confused too😆

I am so happy to see Sunny back. I wrote about him in your other post.

There is no confusion in the mind of Saras and Kumud about their own feelings.. '' Ye ehsaas jise ab na mein jhutla sakta hun aur na tum'' holds true STILL ! He hasnt taken back those words.. they are aware of each others feelings too.. Saras knows Kumud has feelings for him, thanks to Kumari and all that he has witnessed during the gau haytya track.. Kumud knows he has feelings for her but he is scared of relationships and she knows the reason for it.. So in my opinion they have not given any mixed signals to confuse anyone...Coming to Kusum, yes I too feel that her behaviour around Saras is weird to say the least.. Now the whole house knows about the rejection , yet Kumari hasnt stopped calling him Jijaji.. Dukhba is trying her best to sort out things for Saras and Kumud.. What has kusum done for her sisters's sake? She was the one who first saw the painting ..she was the one with whom Kumud had shared her feelings the day she saw the eyes on the computer screen.. She knows more than others do about what Kumud feels for Saras.. yet she does nothing..to soothe her, hear her out...talk to her when Kumud spends the whole night tossing and turning in the same bed where she sleeps..isnt that weird? All i have heard her say is why you think about him? why do you care for him? why can't you see that he has rejected you not only though his letter but his actions too! WHY? Well because maybe your sister is in love!

Thanks for this information Shana0127. I have not seen movie. So I did not know the movie had this misjudged switch over tea serving. One correction, the Novel had no such scene. There, Kusum never interacted with SC before...and after too, the author...but I think that too would be spoiler chatting over the book, so not correct of me, I suppose.😕

infofan.

I agree with your apprehension. Hints are disconcerting. And that's why I want them to 'commit' her on one point- Kusum's affection established elsewhere. Present hints are not encouraging. This is not even inconsistent with the book in that, Kusum never fell for SC in the book. Besides, unlike book, Chandrakant/Sunny is single and available here...but on the contrary, in writing her 'observing' Saras's 'total rejection' they are paving a way for her to 'fall' for him...scary. For what our heroic' heroine won't do to efface herself out of the equation?! What a let down ending. One and only one defect in entire book which never made this book as a great favourite of our milieu, despite its obvious Grandeur, majesty and 'fame'. Even worse, in a very shallow kind of reasoning ( why SC can not marry her) that went along (in book) in bringing it about (the ending). But again...😕

Vaishali,
Once again, much appreciate for bringing about topics to discuss and analyse such relevant aspects.😊
as I said in my concurrence with Infofan, Apprehension is not over her 'lack' on Kumud's aroused feelings (insensitive indeed, as you have pointed out). Rather, in Cv's very writing of such 'lack'...kind of a deliberate paving of a way to introduce another entanglement? That's why I want to see Kusum-Sunny, in case (and hopefully), we might be falsely seeing above mentioned deliberation. Besides, it settles 'her' inclination once over. But all hints are going against this hope.😕 Otherwise not caring much for either of them. So Vaishali, yaar support the Idea.😆
