Yesterday again, Kumud was venting out her frustration, she reacted the best way possible to incite Saraswatichandra.
She wanted to incite him to confess his love, but Saraswati Chandra did not. He just gave up on her and moved out.
I think Saras though shown as a morally strong character, has never really been in relationships. Not only with the opposite sex, but also with other relations. He doesn't get along well with his father, coz he could never forgive him for snatching his mother from him. He does not share a good opinion of Ghuman, for obvious reasons. The only relation he had before coming to was Sunny.
Sunny also is a friend, to whom he can confide, share his frustrations. He is his buddy.
But he has never had a close relationship, who cares for him ( a mother), plays pranks on him ( like a sister/ kumari), or treats him more than him/ herself ( a girl friend/ lover). Infact he has always been aloof from girls ( remember he says to Kumud he never wanted to get married at the first place) So this is the first time he is seeing someone ( Kumud) so up close, caring for him( Fanning/ bringing food), taking his side against every one( gau hatya episode/ Mandir lake kid drowning case), playing pranks on him ( Kumud pushing him in sludge). So this is his first encounter in the world of relationship.
I feel he gets confused as well as startled when he has to adress the self search, that is he really in love or is it something else. He needs to reconfirm it, but from whom, he does not have any one. Offlate sunny is also not calling/ nor he is calling, as he is so engrossed in other things to really contemplate on this.
I think with him, getting out of gau hatya mess, he will get more time to think about this. Also coming of Ghuman will provide him with the thrust to identify what is in his heart. Ghuman's negativity, will push him to look for someone to confide, also her presence will lead to bringing into action Saraswati chandra's protective instincts. So he will protect his only possession...Kumud from her, in the process making him realise his love for Kumud.
After his mother Kumud is the only one who has been able to care for him ( connect with him spiritually). He tried to confide in Dukhba, but was left dejected. So Ghuman's entry will definitely make him care for Kumud from any imminent danger. His caring for Kumud will be his way of demonstrating his hatred for Ghuman ( loving what your enemy hates).
