Saras and Kumud's relationship, official, unofficial, platonic or none as Kumud lied today is very unique in more than one ways. They seem to get closer in the most difficult of situations and separate when everything is going smooth and happy!!! He wasnt able to see her face and take the final plunge despite of Vidya chatur's plans to literally throw them at each other.When that eventually happened, things took an ugly turn. Saras coming to know about the painting and Kumud's dream, softened him up and thanks to VC and his in promptu plans they again got close during the hide and seek game.. The rejection letter is still weighing on their minds, actually just Kumud's and I don't blame the girl for not going all out expressing her feelings. What she said today sums her stand very clearly. Quoting Kumud from todays episode '' What is the point of all this,when you are going to snap the ties and eventually go from here'' Can we blame her for being insecure? No we cant..Why stay and make things complicated if you are not going to clear out the air and say it out loud that you want to marry her? Not only is she forced to hold back her feelings despite all temptations, she is forced to keep the truth from her father as well.. So she asks him to leave and rightly so.Just when we thought they will get close during the hide and seek game,everything turned on its head and next morning Saras had his bags packed ready to leave. It took a killing, accusation and serious problem hitting the Desai family,that brought them back together. In the face of any problem, they will be together, supporting each other .We are going to witness that trend throughout their journey.Today they again are on a crossroad and it may seem like another misunderstanding but in reality its not. Kumud now knows that Saras is innocent and she will leave no stone unturned to find out the real truth and free him of the false charges. Saras is regretful for he has done and he will complete the prayarshchit for her because he wants to repent for hurting her. Ila ben has already forgiven him, so technically his job is done. He can buy her a cow now and support her with money. Kumud will go all out to find proof but she will not let him come close and I understand her stand.. I would have loved Saras to take a decision right now and tell her that he wants to marry her. But his mind seems to be too clouded to comprehend what is happening to him.He needs to understand himself first and then confront her. Does he have that much time ? The clock is ticking and calamity is round the corner. Guman is ready to strike any moment with her master plans to throw the Desais out of the haveli and call off the wedding. Things are building slowly and steadily and its like a lull before the storm that's going to blow everyone away! That brings me back to where I started with.. They might not share the happiest of times together, but in the face of a problem they will always be one. So bring it on Guman..the sooner the better :)
