Here's my top ten favorite Samud moments, hope you enjoy them and thanks for reading! 1. When Saras holds Kumud's hand and then puts his hand on her waist getting lost in her face, before letting her go. 2. When Kumud apologizes to Saras for pushing him in the mud, and gives him her dupatta to wipe off his face. 3. Kumud's telling the village women that the pots are "crafted with love" and that the water in them will be cool and sweet so they will buy from Saras. 4. Kumud defending Saras from the village man who claims that anyone who buys from him will be cursed. She says helping someone atone is a blessing in itself. 5. When Kumud almost falls in the mud, but Saras catches her and they have an eyelock. 6. When Saras finds the picture Kumud drew of his eyes and face and realizes that he is the man in the picture. 7. When Saras and Kumud are holding the kite at the same time and they look at each other, it's the first time he has ever seen her face. 8. Kumud and Saras are trapped in a room by themselves and then Kumud hurts her arm. Saras gets the first aid kit and fixes up Kumud's bloody arm while they sit on the floor together. 9. When Saras' virtue is questioned by the villagers as well as his mother's and Kumud speaks out in defense of him and Saraswati, saying her values and morals live on inside of him. 10. When Kumud makes Saras eat the dinner saying her dad won't eat if he sees the full plate untouched and then Saras makes her eat it by trying to act like there is something wrong with it, smiling at her in the bargain.
9.5. When Kumud's dupatta covers Saras' head while he is throwing pots, and he closes his eyes in rapture. Hawww.
