Hey Srushti, so now you know what I was telling about Kumud in Friday precap!😃..Scintillating, as we say in my vocation. And in every which way; the guts, grit and grace. Isn't she?! She is one hell, ney heaven lot of an etching that shines through even in such mundane plot or script. Her conception, casting, attire (even in its excess😊) and above all her carriage, all are in rhyme with that ethical beauty of interior Gujarat(idealistic) that we so occasionally come across in their ideal form not only in an interior town but even in cities of Gujarat like Baroda, Rajkot, A'bad or Mumbai while they would be mimicking their ethnic heritage during Navratra or marriage ceremonials, if not in routine or reality.😉
Here she is digressing in far exceeding the quiet grace of a genteel, educated daughter of a refined Nagar Brahmin household that she has been conceived in original, but on other hand she is well representing a product that blossoms on an all round union of Vidya Chatur and Guniyal and their wholesome upbringing. That's where she scores true...and stays loyal to the original line, I feel.

I loved some other ethnic touches; her bhavai prose to decoy the customers; the director, cleverly inserts a native dramatic to subdue exaggeration of their toils. Or her subtle defiance/charm to 'kakas and kakis'. In bet'n mom and wife both commented today, good taste Gun, Jasmine strings and Patola patterns only, far better than ornament laden ladies of other soaps.
...but than I was observing certain four dots!😆

Here she is digressing in far exceeding the quiet grace of a genteel, educated daughter of a refined Nagar Brahmin household that she has been conceived in original, but on other hand she is well representing a product that blossoms on an all round union of Vidya Chatur and Guniyal and their wholesome upbringing. That's where she scores true...and stays loyal to the original line, I feel. She does...and this I feel is the true Kumud..not the one who says 'Deewar se takra jaungi'...that was quite a spoilt brat we saw...this Kumud was the one in sync with the promos they showed...a girl who would stand strong, defy every kind of tradition, ritual, to do what she feels right...

Oh yes...though the 'PAani' diction was a bit non Gujarati..oherwise Jenny did nail it right...cant blame her for trying...The clothes have definitely been worked upon..the classic embroidery, the especially the \blouse and their sleeves...gives a very homely feeling...classy, elegant and simple...
...but than I was observing certain four dots!😆 oh I am slow ...but you need to clarify on this one..😛
