I agree with u on this!! belonging to the conservative family she should I think cover a little more!! and ya when she can wear backless blouses it doesn't make any difference if the transparent dupatta is there or not!! but well she is the lead so they will do this!Originally posted by: S.Stephy
I have nothing particularly against the clothes and yes, everyone has their right to dress acc to their choice. But this is a fictional character and I think as viewers it is ok to discuss whether the creatives have done justice to the character's dressing style.
In my opinion, the short, backless blouses actually do not suit Kumud's character since she has been shown to be a conservative person belonging to a conservative family. Now if they weren't showing these characters to be conservative, these clothes would have been ok. For eg: Dugba seems to always scold Kumari for not tying her hair and she says how Kumud does everything perfectly. Now if Dugba is so particular about these things... I'm sure she should be having a problem with Kumud's clothes as well. And then the scene where Kumud's dupatta was about to come off and she switches off the light... now if Kumud is ok with wearing revealing blouses along with transparent dupatttas then she should not have had any problem when the dupatta was about to fall...
