How to judge popularity of a show?

I was wondering how to judge popularity of a show? Is it TRPs or awards etc

What i feel is popularity of a show/human anything is based on its longetivity in human history.

People still remember old popular serials in DD and i watched some old videos of shows like Mulla Nasaruddin, Rajini. They are quiet good. Same goes for movies Pyasa was a flop in 1950s but a classic in 2010.

So comparing recent shows popularity is not correct. If people remember shows after 20-30 years of making then its a true classic.

SC has a good story to make it a classic because its story is a classic.

BY its fanbase...I don't know about trp's coz Shows like Uttaran, diya aur bati hum gets high trp's but who watches a stupid show like uttaran 😆... I used to watch it b4 but now m already ****** lolz.

SC is doing great...I love the plot and enjoy watching Samud's chemistry and it's getting popular day by day...It's the best show 😃

I think if people remember a show even after years of its ending, then that does speak something about the show.

for me it's fanbase only 😊 rest doesn't count as sometimes cheatings are done!!! S.C is on a very good way to become popular it had already started so don't worry 😊

For me is losing interest, if I lose interest and forget about the show then I would say the show isn't too good, but popularity well TRPs because it just is
