We've seen their clashes and bickering before because of ego and frustration and what not but today, it was something else. It was different than all their previous fights. They're going around in this ironical cycle where they're being hurt by each other and because of that, they're hurting each other. It's not a good thing of course, neither is it the correct way to deal with the situation at hand. But who ever said that they're not flawed human beings? We all are. Don't we all disapprove of someone who, even if unknowingly, hurts us and our close ones? Don't we all have a weak spot which we don't want disturbed even unintentionally?

Maybe Kumud is egoistic. But can we ignore that she is way more empathetic and compassionate than any other character on the show? They way she went to the extent on going down on her knees yesterday, how can your heart not go out to her? She might not have known the history behind the lake but she knows that she is the reason Saras is in such a pathetic condition and she's tried beyond her means to make it up to him. How many people would admit that 'galti se bhi nahi hona chahiye tha'? Had we been in her place, won't we have been more than happy to comfort ourselves saying we didn't know about it? Even if Kumud came across as harsh today, it's only because she desperately wants Saras to quit hurting himself. 'Kyun dete ho apne aap ko itni takleef?' Did anyone notice that that dialogue screamed of how much she hated seeing him like that?

And Saras. Maybe he is self-centered around his pain. So what? Can't we see that the memories of his mother is the only thing which keeps him going? I had said yesterday that Saras hasn't been able to fight his traumatic past, he's been suppressing it all this while. But that is what makes him who he is today. He remembers everything his mother taught him from respecting his elders to the religious sentiments and goes out of his way to follow it. Why? Because his mother told him it was the right thing to do. The sole aim in his life is to become the man his mother wanted him to be and for that, he's trying to follow all her teachings. Honestly, I can't believe people actually want him to move on. Something so excruciating does not just bury away in the sands of time. Letting go is something much easier said than done. We aren't in his place, we'll never understand. Saras has given up hope too. After what happened with Dukhbaa, I doubt he'll ever be able to open up again. After his pleadings were so rudely rejected (I'm happy he tried though). It KILLED me to hear him say he doesn't want to suffocate anymore! He doesn't like living like this, with this burden in his heart that he couldn't save his mother. But does he have a choice? Every frickkin' one seems to be turning their back on him!

At the farm today, more than an egoistic girl and a weak man, I saw two wounded souls who mirrored each other's emotions yet failed to recognise it. When I said that they bring out each other's vulnerable side, it's because they're these two lost people who found solace in each other. Indirectly, they showed shades of their personalities no one else ever knew of. Maybe even they themselves didn't.

Yesterday, I said Saras lives in delusion. But today, I extend that to Kumud as well. They're definitely delusional if that think there is no relationship between them. They are eventually going to realise how their souls have been intertwined by an invisible thread. Unfortunately, the price they'll have to pay is being separated from each other.

P.S. I disliked Dukhbaa today. I don't know her back story and I realise Guman has probably hit a raw nerve but after seeing Saras scream after his mother that day almost drowning in the lake, she still has the audacity to say he is no longer Saraswati's son. Maybe I'm being biased but sorry, I hold no sympathy for her after this despite the hurtful words said to her by Guman.

Neethz!🤗 Gorgeous post! I always enjoy reading your pov, cause somewhere it explains what I'm feeling as well.

Let me be honest, I completely and fully relate to both Saras and Kumud. Why? Cause I am egoistic, and actually, everybody in this world is. Had this been a normal show with the ghissa pitta leads, they both would have apologized to each other and would have been living happily ever after by now but no, that isn't the case here. Had I been in either Saras or Kumud's place, this is exactly how I would react. The characters are actually pretty realistic.

Kumud- She's got the ego, but she's gotta a huge heart. As the promos had suggested, she's a girl who can even make a loser feel like a winner. And Saras, I'm just glad that he hasnt forgotten his past cuz his past includes all the values that he has learnt from his mother. If he forgets his past, then he is just gonna be Guman's toy- A selfish and money-minded guy. The fact that he's so traditional and caring is only because of his past. He actually took Kumud's advice, he went on to talk to Dukhbaa, whom he felt would share his pain but he was bluntly rejected. Despite all this pain, he still manages to live-Only due to his past, his mother.

These two don't admit it now, but the truth is, they've started to fall for each other. If you notice, when he sees Kumud's face for the first time, there's a smile and calm, peaceful look on his face, like he had just forgotten all his pain. Today after the confrontation, both of them were remembering the moments they spent together-They are already enclosed in a bond without their own knowledge.

Dukhbaa is nothing but unreasonable. Heck she knows the kind of lady Gumaan is, she saw Saras crying for his mother, yet she falls for Gumaan's words. I can't even feel an ounce of sympathy for her.

I absolutely loved reading your point of view. Helped me clear a few things.

My heart went out to both of them when Saras said that our relationship doesn't matter...

I don't know why but after reading your post I recall the scene where he says, "tumhari awaaz mujhe yaha tak kheech layi hai, aur ab tumhara chehra toh..." that line has somehow just stayed with me. They both are falling in love but will not accept it. Ah, the stubborn souls!

As for Dukhbaa's behaviour, you said it, Gumaan hit a raw nerve. I believe, she believed Gumaan so easily becaause she doesn't know the man Saras has become. She automatically assumed the worst because she herself is confused? or rather on the fence about letting him in, last time she supported him, Gumaan sweep-ed in and took him away from her..maybe thats why she is behaving the way she is.

Thank you, Aish🤗

You also pretty much speak for me. There wouldn't be any dynamics if Saras and Kumud managed to sit down and talk and clear the misunderstandings. So while I admit it's unhealthy for us as actual human beings, they're forming a bond despite that. And ya about Saras, whatever he is today is because of his mother. If he actually moves on from her, he won't be the Saras we know and love so much. I don't know about falling yet, but they've definitely create a special place in each other's hearts. I had mentioned once before that those memories they recalled are moments of bicker but they actually enjoyed it.

No comments on Dukhbaa anymore than what I mentioned. I am beyond disappointed in her today. Maybe that'll change once I know what happened between her and Guman all those years ago.

I think their mutual suffering and realisation that they're now a part of each other's life will bring them together again😳

Thank you, dear. This is coming from someone who pretty much provides amazing analysis of the episodes herself, it makes me happy😃

Thank you, Jammy!

Saras and Kumud don't want to accept how much the other person has impacted them. They're not used to feeling the way they do when they're even in each other's vicinity. And of course, they redefine stubborn. Won't be that easy for them, eh?

I would've accepted your explanation on Dukhbaa had she not seen Saras at the lake the other day. Somehow, I find it incredulous that she fell for what Guman said after that. But let's see (=

Well said..Saras and Kumud unfortunately bring the worst out of each other and do not realize where to draw the line..If Kumud was harsh in calling him selfish, Saras was equally mean in telling her that he was right in rejecting her..I for one believe that Kumud started with her taunts only with the intention of snapping him out of his grief..She requested, begged and even grovelled for his apology..But nothing seemed to work out..Infact things seemed to be getting worse and she noticed that Saras was getting sucked into his traumatic past and in the process was hurting himself both physically and psychologically..So she probably felt the best way to get him back to reality was to taunt him and she knew from past experience that Saras hates being called selfish..I refuse to believe that after witnessing first hand how much Saras is damaged, she would intentionally call him selfish..Kumud may be may things but she definitely has a flawless heart..But as is always the case with their interactions, they got carried away with their emotions and went a little too far and said things which they never intended to..And yes, Kumud is way too proud to take Saras's comment (about him being right in rejecting her) lying down.. This tug of war will stop only when the two connect on an emotional level and understand each other..Saras has to let her in and for that Kumud has to first let him understand her-believe that she is the one who can erase his pain..

I just love reading your posts man. Sorry I tend to stalk more than post but today I really wanted to enjoy reading everyones perspectives because Saras and Kumud's relationship is getting even more fascinating. The ripples underneath the surface are so intriguing and the tension between the two is awe-striking.

Two lost souls, so they are.
