Do you even know why I am angry? He asked in a low voice….there was impatience and a hint of temper in his voice…..

I am angry because you didn't let me explain myself even once….even a criminal gets a fair chance to say something in his defense …….lekin main……. I didn't even get to show how I feel leave alone reasoning for that matter!

Kumud all these days I was wondering how could I make everything normal back again for you and your family……. And I'm sure I would have been successful in doing it in some way or the other……….. But strangely, I have realized that this is not I want……….he said without any hesitation and regret in his eyes

Kumud kept looking on in his eyes trying to figure what he meant, she saw some emotion inside his eyes that hypnotized her and she could do nothing but give in herself to his eyes full of it…

"There is this attraction between you and me that cannot be denied any more Kumud" he continued……."the attraction that I felt by just hearing your voice and the attraction that you felt by just seeing my eyes……he stated while making his grip on her shoulders a little more stronger…….. kumud suddenly felt her blood rushing up to her cheeks which made her look down inadvertently.

"I wanted to tell you so much…..so much about myself……..about you...about us……. "I wanted to ask you about your feelings……feelings about me….about us……and most importantly I wanted to apologize personally to you for what I did…..." but you didn't even let me see your face….. You……."Anyways….jaane do…….. this doesn't matter anymore to me now…….."

"Kumud I am really thankful to you that you made me realize how impulsive I was in making that decision……..if it weren't you then I would have missed an opportunity to meet someone who shared the values of my Mother…….Kumud suddenly looked up into eyes she saw the same emotion getting deep…..Saras slowly moved his hands sideways from her shoulders reaching her wrist and then even more slowly he held her hands, and turned her palms up, and looked at them with lowered brows, "There are things that come to us whether we ask them or not Kumud….and you have happened to me…….This was written in my destiny…in our destiny and I am glad that I came here to meet you………. He let out a slight smile while lifting his eyes and locking them again with hers…….…

In order to lighten up the mood between them or rather attempting to findout their relationship's status she decided to break the silence "Toh ab……she blurted out anticipating a reply from him nervously with an arched eyebrow

Saras chuckled at her innocence as well as her intelligence he understood how she wanted to cheer up his mood as well as her desperate need to get her answers so he decided to play along with her and said……"Hmmm…….Toh ab Ms Kumud desai don't you think it is high time we accept each other's APOLOGIES now…….???

Kumud mentally cursed herself for being so desperate however she managed to hide it from him or atleast one could say she tried……….…"Apology accepted Mr. Saraswatichandra, she said trying hard not feel week in front of him which was a bit impossible coz saras had already started having an effect on her…..

Same here Ms. Kumud Desai…..Saras said in return while leaving her hands gently by her sides deciding not to make things too hard for her……

Not being able to hold it up anymore Kumud lowered her gaze slowly and turned to walk back when she suddenly felt her duppatta being pulled she turned back again only to see Saras holding on to it….she saw a teasy glint in his eyes with a slight smirk appearing at the corner of his lips…..she understood why he stopped her and tried to look oblivious by looking everywhere but him however saras had something else in his mind he slowly started taking his steps towards her to which she automatically pulled back….

Hold on Kumud….Ek cheez ke bare mein toh humne baat hi nahi ki….he stated while enjoying the effect he had on her……

"You didn't mention about What I should say to vidya chatur kaka about us…….should I still refuse to marr…"

Kumud shot an intense glare at him and said….."Iss baar agar tumne aise waisa kuch kiya na toh phir….

Toh phir….??? Saras cut her in between while pulling her closer to himself so that they were only inches apart

Toh phir aaj ke baad main tumhe apna chehra zindagi bhar nah…..he put his hand on her mouth and shook his head in disagreement hinting her to not complete the sentence she was about to say

Saras took her face in his hands and said Nahi kumud ……….phir aisa karne ki sonchna bhi mat……agar tumne aisa kiya toh main je……" now this time kumud put her hand on his mouth not letting him complete his sentence….

kumud said "acha baba nahi karonngi….."

Aur tum…? She questioned him back

"Nahi karoonga…..saras said promising her a wonderful life ahead

Aww thank u dear...I appreaciate your comments but yaar the thing is I am only good at writing os i cant handle ss's or ff's
So cant promise to do it but I do plan to write some os's on SaMud so will keep u informed abt it

this is sooo good.the ending is the icing on the cake.u brought out samud's character,i mean saras kumud as well as the dynamics of their relation xtremly well
maintaining the typical traits in saras' nature--namely his shyness as well as passion,his introvert yet teasing tone.u potraiyed them all SO SO well 👏
