I loved your post! The episode was a revelation of what lies behind that quiet and seemingly tough exterior of Saraswatichandra. I love it how he's unable to keep himself from getting attracted to Kumud! He had come for sake of the letter and more out of a challenge thrown to him by Kumud. But he's attracted like a piece of iron to magnetic Kumud! He first felt curiosity for her, then empathy and now such attraction...

I didn't like how Kumud broke his heart but she did it unknowingly so I spare her from criticism.

The village holds so many hidden - joyful and horrifying memories of childhood for him. Gautam did so well, I felt my throat dry and body numb while watching that sequence. It was all exceptionally moving, the acting of all actors, the flashbacks, and how Saras sees his mother's sari in that kite, how that entire tragedy comes back to him...

The episode will be remembered among the best ever in history of Indian television! So many emotions, so many transitions yet no abruptness, nothing OTT or out of the blue. Only heartless person would be unable to get drawn into this episode.

I did not like Kumud today... Not at all... But I must say Gautam was just FAB today... The way his emotions ranged today... He was Fantastic ... Just Fantastic...
