First he rejected Kumud, alright but poor thing inspite of knowing kumud agreed to the proposal just by seeing his eyes , isnt enough for him to hurt her!!

I dont think he is mean...I think him saying no and her accepting it as a strong girl was a good intensity built up..he is drawn to her even more..

Hey, thanks for the post. It is great to know what others think. But I actually do not think Saraswatichandra is mean or selfish. He never gave a second thought before coming to meet Kumud. Deep down he truly feels guilty for hurting Kumud and now that he is coming to know more about Kumud, he is changing. I think deep down he is hurt or something is bothering or paining him but I think Kumud will eliminate all his pain and that is why their love story will be really intense. Without even knowing each other they truly feel for each other. Their love for each other is actually already developing.

surely he does need to get head over heals in love ...then only we get more drooling scenes

I dun think Saras has been mean.
when he wrote the letter rejecting the marriage proposal, and after sending the letter he did realize that the way he rejected the proposal was wrong and did wanted to say a sorry then as well.

Later, when Kumud blasts him at through the Video chat, its then when he realizes what mistake he has done by bluntly saying a no to a girl whom he has never seen. Its after Kumuds challenge, he has the urge to see this girl, who had the guts of blasting him. Secondly, he has felt a desire of attraction towards Kumud, from the moment she started walking towards the camera in the computer room, Saras's heart vends for Kumud, and after she aint ready to her face to him, its pulling him more towards her, the desperation between Kumud and Saras to face each other can be felt.

I dont think he is mean at all...
what else can he do when the girl is not showing her face??
she is torturing him so much!
poor guy is trying so hard to see one jhalak of her face..!
