I liked the scene - but I think I'd have liked more dialogue. It's not within character, I realize, what with Kumud being affronted, and Saras being ... well ... Saras, but I think I woulda wanted more of an emotional outburst, or some expression of his frustration, to her.

That said, you end it really well - where he feels like an idiot. But I really liked that angle of her feeling like a burden on him. I know he didn't mean it but it suited the situation.

You know - maybe I have all the IPK stories in my mind and that's why I say this, or maybe it's knowledge SC is a show that ends tragically, but I want to see a heart-wrenching tale from you on SC ... :) May I put in that request, and see something as beautiful as the one you gave us on the side characters of IPK (namely Anjali's story ... :)).
