I'm glad you loved this stuff, but I'm not writing hot stuff anymore... I have to do something for the kids here as well 😆
Ah! My hands urged me to write, my mind never let go of these thoughts...Ah, I felt for both of them , don't know how they will elope now, just to share my thoughts as of how they would feel now
I walk alone
Saras stood still, staring out the window, into the darkness searching for some mind of peace. Oh, God! How he urged for the comfort he felt, the feeling of belonging and the tranquility with her. He felt that the ties that once held him to his hopes are tangled around his throat now, choking him with pure resentment. He thought he knew despair but this was beyond it. He had lost everything in space of seconds. He was expecting the high of elation, but he had fallen into the pits of darkness. Only if he had known before, he could have saved him and her from such torment.

Saras felt euphoric and wanted to shout it out to the world that he had found his paradise. He had wanted to take her in his arms, he could not help but touch her, as he could not wait for the day he could claim her completely. He knew his eyes searched for her and once he got ready, he went over to the terrace to look for Kumud, who did not come yet to Sejal's bidaai. He found her kneeling in front on the doves, weeping. The sight astounded him, as he never expected her to be crying. He stood there for a moment, thinking, her eyes seemed glum, they seemed to have lost the loving feeling he had seen before.
'Kumud, what happened?' He asked touching her shoulders, bringing himself into almost a sitting position, to be at her level. 'Stay away from me!' kumud cried, pulling her away from him. She was still in shock that she could not stop herself getting carried away with her desires. She had been wondering and crying all this while, what was she supposed to do now. She had felt claustrophobic in the bed room, and hence came to the terrace in the hope to recover some strength, as she needed open space to vent out her anguish. She condemned herself for what she had done.
'What else can I do besides crying, after committing such a big SIN!' Kumud added in between her sobs. 'SIN?' Saras tried to speak, but he found him dumbstruck. How could she name it as a sin? She had defined him the meaning of love, she had shown him the beauty of life, and it was the most beautiful moment they have shared together. Her words staggered him, words he had not hoped, words she said were beyond his capability to take. He felt everything fading out, except for her words that resonated around him, that stole his smile.
He turned around and dragged his unmoving feet away from her, rendering him disoriented to everything around him. The joy within him had now seemed to be needling him, and he could not get away fast enough from there as his feet were struggling to obey him. He stopped and looked at her, as he heard her calling his name but it was a haze. She stood there, unmoved and turning her back to him. He walked towards the stairs, walking away from her, increasing the distance between them. He knew he could never be able to cut the thread that tied him to her.

'Saras, you are here? What happened to the lights?' Dughba asked, turning on the lights as she came to call Saras for dinner. Saras hid his tears and said 'I'm not feeling hungry. I just want to sleep soon today' and hurried towards the bathroom. 'Alright, as you wish! Now the happiness is filling your stomach also, but son, you need to be more careful with your health as well' said Dhugba, before walking out of the room.
Kumud looked at the incomplete picture of Saras in her hands. She loved him too much she should not have let go off her values and her parents trust upon her. She needed to tell him that her burden is too huge and too dark for him. She knew that destiny had bound them together, but she cannot accept what happened between them was but a sin. She hoped that he would understand her feelings. She took a step to go to him to stop him from misunderstanding her.
Kumud almost ran in her eagerness as reached him and touched his arm. She went in front of him, looked into his eyes but found the sparkle of love she had seen before had lost in them. She wanted to shake him back into seeing her, to know that she would never hurt him, and she held the collar of his shirt, making him to look at her. Saras seemed determined to stay away from her, he pushed her away gently and stormed out from the room, leaving her now, truly alone.
