She is beautiful and so so so talented. From watching her from kasauti days, to Sangam and then Dill Mill Gayye, she emotes so well, to the point where you literally think 'WOW!'. The emotional scenes she did in DMG were AMAZING as well as the cute and funny scenes. Looking forward to her showcasing her talent in this show.

Lovely post Reemz! It's so nice to have Jenny back on screen again.

Funny just today I was watching her old scenes from DMG (which I done in a long time) and was reminded what a brilliant actress Jenny is. Now seeing her as Kumud in SC she left me in awe.

Okay holy molly. I just saw on TV and I can't even begin to explain what I saw. Kumud's entry scene was so fabulously shot and I LOVE LOVE her character. The morals she has, the love she has for her parents...it's all overwhelming! A real contrast from Saraswatichandra's character. She looked so gorgeous and I'm still at a loss of words to explain how perfect she is for this role. :| AND yes this is that same Basket, but now she's our Kumudsundari!😳

Gautam was good as well, but yes like you said I think its gonna take him some time to complete immerse into Saras!

omg can I say I can't wait for the sparks to begin :| Kumud is gonna fall in love with just seeing his eyeees

Agreed ! I think Jenny is perfect for this role. I don't know how to describe it per say, but I think she has like this presence about her, that screams Kumud's confident and proud, but not like a haughty kind of ignorant pride, and down to earth persona. And Jenny is such a doll !

Hi everyone. Great to 'see' familiar faces. Loved first episode. Both actors did justice to their intro

Both had a great scene of their backs

Both started with an immersion scene in water.

Both worship one parent- kumud worships her dad and Saras worships his mom.

Looking forward to watching their chemistry as it unfolds.

Spot on you are about everything. I was never active during DMG times but I kinda stalked posts and have always loved reading your POVs Reema.
Jennifer WInget SG is the primary reason I'm watching the show and she played every nuance of the character to the 'T' in the first episode itself. And I love that you particularly pointed out the delicate shake of the head - that was so poignant. Of course, she always manages to catch the perfect body language. Although, I love her performance in emotional scenes, here's wishing that the spirited character of KumudSundari isn't shown to be dampened by the tribulations in the days to come.
And Gautam was impressive too. He definitely looks the character and didn't disappoint at all.
