Character definition and the way they are defined

Born and brought up in an upper-middle class Maharashtrian family. Discipline is a trait that he learnt from his father. He is a devoted brother and a son, but his family and even his parents are a little scared of him. He is a man of few words but has deep love inside. He is the person who will never step on the wrong side ofmaryada. The only woman he has known closely is his mother and though a lot of women have tried to get in to his life but he has resisted them all. He is tough from outside but will sacrifice for his family for his love. Naina brings out the passion and affection that even he did not he possesses.

Defined as:

Would never step on wrong side of maryada. i don't believe this. He is ready to marry sonakshi without loving her and would never be able to keep her happy. Isn't this injustice to sonakshi (though i do not prefer sonakshi. I am hardcore dakshana fan). Isn't this like stepping on the wrong side of maryada. Would such a disciplinary man do such a big mistake.

Moreover he is a divorce lawyer(sorry one of the good divorce lawyer in the city as said by Mr. joshi) and being so he must have seen the pain of all the families that have undergone divorce. He must have experienced the people he have divorced that what miserability they undergo. And yet being such a honest man he want to make sonakshi suffer because of his friendship. If you want to do anything for your friend, do yourself and suffer yourself, why make others suffer. This is not what a sanskari son of aai do.

Vibha patwardhan(aai)

Original Definition:

Loving, caring would do anything for her sons and her husband. She is a kind of lady that would find out the condition of a person by looking on their face.

Defined as:

The first meeting with naina in the garden and she knows that naina is unhomely girl and she needs help.

By looking at Lekha she comes to know that there are problems with lekha and her husband and she confronts her soothingly.

By looking at akruti she knows that akruti is tensed and would make her relax.

By looking at rohini, she knows that something or the other is bothering her.

By looking at her husband, she can predict that something unplanned has happened in her husband's college and that he is upset.

But by looking at daksh she cannot predict that her son is upset for some reason. Common how can a character be changed to such an extent that she cannot predict the loneliness of her own loving chintu for whom she cared since childhood. Why such an exception. why can't she see that he is so hurt. Could a mother's love be changed so unpredictingly.

Akruti Patwardhan

Original Definition:

A loving sister that would say each and every problem of her to dada. The girl that would run to dada for silly things. Afraid of people and mostly afraid of her father (shridhar kaka).

Defined as:

She is the most unpredictable character in this serial. Firstly it was shown that she is the person who is afraid of everything. Be it people, naina, kaka everything that the world contains.

And the next after meeting with naina she has been such a courageous person, that she has guts to sleep with a man before marriage. Common man where does such heavy guts come from. Such a afraid person cannot have such heavy guts within few months. She has guts to run away from home at night to be with ayush , but does not have guts to speak to her dada about this problem. How can u define this character.

And about some other characters:

srishti(naina's friend):

She is naina's best friend but she doesn't even care to show up in the serial for naina's engagement and marriage. If she is her friend she should arrive before anyone else and should take care of all the necessary arrangements for her engagement and marriage. and where are the naina's other college friends.

Lekha:

Lekha was very thankful to daksh for helping in such delicate suitation. And was very laadli of aai too. So where is she . Shouldn't she be here with all other family members. Shouldn't she come to know about daksh's feelings for naina. Shouldn't she make aai believe that daksh loves naina.

Conclusion:

the only purpose of all the above description is that it is not necessary to simply drag the serial by changing the character portrayal. Let the characters maintain their definitions. and no need of making entry of new characters at inappropriate durations. Simply dragging the serial without any dakshana moments would disappoint the fans to a great extent.
