As the Green Bangle ceremony is over, the family gathers and chat trying to make Anjali feel at home. Vibha is concerned that she has come from a long way off, and should take her rest. They ask her to spend the time with her daughter in her room, and make up for the lost time. Vedant is asked to show her the room, and Naina asks her mother to go ahead, and she will follow soon. Her mother leaves with Vedant. As soon as she leaves, Naina stops Abhi and wants to have a word with him. Naina feels grateful to Abhi for telephoning her mother, and calling her to join

them for the ceremony, and she tells him that she is also happy, at his thoughtful presence of mind, in asking her to bring the Shagun too. Dumb Abhi admires the beauty of her face, and all that she says to him, goes down the duck's back. As Naina expresses her gratitude to the wrong man, the right one, Daksh is looking at her and the foolish cousin, with a face expressing apprehension of an unknown future for his true and best friend, Naina. He is annoyed at his cousin, for not correcting her when she thanks him. He would never have left her in that ambiguity. The stark difference between these two men, is self evident. Happily, and unknowing of the real truth, Naina goes to her room and meets her mother.

Anjali, is very emotional, and tells her that she is sorry for not having seen her pain and frustration in her eyes earlier. She has brought a saree, which Naina gifted her on the Mothers' Day, and recalls with what love she gave, and Naina watches

her. Anjali tells her how much she loved her father, and his daughter, the last vestige of himself, is there, right before her, and she had not realized it, until, she had left home, and then she had understood what pain of separation was. She wants to make up. It takes some time for Naina to react and adjust to this new reality and finally, she embraces her mother, and Anjali, is on the verge of tears. Anjali asks Naina to sit close to her and she tells her to relax.

Naina tells her, how happy she is, for accepting Abhi's invitation, and coming the ceremony. Anjali is confused for a moment. She tells that it was Daksh who had invited her, and had also come to Darjeeling to see her and at first she had thought that he had come to ask to be accepted as her son in law, and she was truly happy. But then she came to know that her daughter had chosen someone else. Naina is a bit annoyed at Abhi, for hiding this truth from her, but keeps it to herself. In the meantime, Vibha has given a tray with gifts for Naina, and told Daksh to take it to her room, and also told him to take her mobile and give it to her, and he leaves to go upstairs. In the room Naina hears more from her mother, who tells her that Daksh is truly in love with her, and as she says this, Daksh is at the door, listens to what she has said, and drops Naina's mobile on the floor. They all stare at him. Daksh gently bends and picks the phone and gives it to Naina, and leaves the tray on the table.

When Anjali, tells Naina that Daksh is in love with her, Nainatries to correct her wrong impression, by telling her that he in fact is in love with some one else, and goes close to Daksh so that he can confirm her, but for which Daksh does not respond, but says that he is sorry for disturbing them, and that he came to give back the mobile which she had left down below, and quietly takes their leave and goes down.
Anjali however, is surprised that her daughter can not see, what she can, and asks her if she ever thought about the fact that he might have been in love with her, but she does not know the ways of the world, as perfectly as her mother does. Naina tells her that she loves Daksh as a friend, and that too, the best friend. Anjali can not but think, how plain and simple her daughter is, and the way she looks at people around her and hopes, that she would be happy with Abhi, and asks her if she loves him. Naina tells her that he loves her, and when the mother asks what about her loving him, she tells that she is pleased with him, but as for love she thinks it will come later, and the mother concludes, that with a girl like Naina, it may be possible. But the mother feels that she is making a wrong decision, though she does not say it.
Daksh is in a deep depression, regretting the opportunities he has lost, and is looking on a gift he had bought for Naina, as the haunting theme song, plays in the background. When he is forlorn and lost, he receives a call from the high strung Sonakshi, to meet her to exchange the mobile phone, and he replies to her in a dry, low tone, that he will do it. The contrast between these two girls must be striking to him too. His cousin Abhi and this Sonakshi Joshi, seem to have been cut out from the same cloth, both giddy headed, loud mouthed, empty headed, and who believe that life is a thing to 'enjoy', as according to Sonakshi, 'such is life'.

Down in the corridor, our feather-brained Abhi, is rushing with a list he has made, to show Naina and as soon as he sees her, starts his monologue, asking her to look at his friends' list and he wants her to add her friends, but Naina stops him in his tracks, but she asks him curtly, why he lied to her. Apparently, telling truth, is top on her list, but not on they boy's as for him, what suits him, is the best option, and lies are a means to get to his end. Abhi pretends that he does not understand, then Naina tells him, point blank, that it was not he who had invited her mother, but it was Daksh. Again Daksh walks into the picture, and Abhi, tries to take the higher moral ground, when he comes to know that Daksh had gone to meet her mother in Darjeeling. He asks why he had not told him that before, as he would have gone there himself. Naina can not believe her ears, the way he takes the whole issue. Is this the dawn of her rational behavior? Abhi who professes his love for Naina, runs down, at the drop of a hat, when he hears his Mother, call out his name on the top of her high pitched voice. Here is a man madly in 'love', but can not disengage from his mothers' apron strings.
Sanket has come home, and wants to give them the good news. He has been promoted and transferred, and has to leave Rohini alone for six months. Akruti listens to the fuss Vibha makes over Rohini's pregnancy and and delicate situation she is in. Seeing this anxiety, she wonders, why no one cares for her, and Ayush too has proved to be quite different from what she expected. Sanket is persuaded by his parents to ask his company to defer the transfer to the time, after Rohini's delivery and he says that he will try and persuade his management to accept it.
Daksh is getting ready to meet Sonakshi, and Naina wants to meet Mrs. Deshpande and finalize the details. Abhi feels left out, that his bride to be needs Daksh more than himself, and tells her that she has only one more week, and after that she will have to be away with Daksh, (and at his command?) - Daksh and Naina leave in his car, and when she reaches Mrs. Deshpande's house, he waits for her to complete her work, and Naina goes in to meet her client. The client is very upbeat, about the engagement, and tells her that everything went on fine, and when she speaks about the photographs, Naina asks for some, for her files. Mrs Deshpande, takes out the photograph, of the couple, and says, that they seem to be made for each other. The viewers are disappointed, that Naina does not see the photo, as the lady, has put it in an envelope and given it to her. Some will blame the ever present CVs, but according to Sonakshi, 'such is life'.
Generally, when the CVs of the Channel mess up, the whole story goes haywire. Here we may seem to see some hiccups, but they might be intended by the Writer of the story. I still believe this is one man's vision of the story, and not that of a group. When Naina comes back, Daksh drives to the rendezvous to meet Sonakshi, and they enter, and are greeted, by a high pitched, and high decibel voice, - our own Sonakshi Joshi. She thinks Naina is his girl friend, and when she says it, Naina's eyes go wide open.
