One of the men who shot Pooja looks down at her as she lies in some crummy room with a faint frown on her face. He admires her resilience and says he shot 6 bullets into her and she still managed to keep breathing. But now not even a single one will go to waste. He loads his gun and points it at her.
The next day Sumitra goes to meet BBP who is shocked and surprised to see her there. She falls at his feet and begs his pardon. He goes into his good guy act and has the gall to say that she is like a mother to him because he married her daughter. Sumitra looks torn between anger and grief. She says if he really considers her a mother, then please forget the past and return Pooja.
BBP looks shocked and once again brings out his song and dance about being misunderstood. He says yesterday Harivansh had all kinds of accusations to make and today she is here making fantastic charges. He says he could never hurt Pooja. Why would he kidnap her anyway? Sumitra looks struck by his argument and says if he didn't kidnap Pooja, then who did. BBP looks furious and he says he will soon find out who and why. He walks off angrily and leaves Sumitra looking confused.
At the jail, Govind SHankar and his flunky loudly discuss the whole Pooja missing case in front of Arti. They crack jokes about it until Arti demands to know what's going on. GS says she doesn't have a family to worry about any more because she is now an inmate and they are her only family. Arti demands to be let out at once and to see her family. GS laughs at her and says they're not there to do her bidding. She's just another prisoner now and can't do anything. Arti yells in frustration while other inmates watch.
Dev is at the hospital waiting for news of his brother and remembering the good times. The doctor comes and says he's sorry but his brother passed away. Dev goes crazy and destroys the waiting room before collapsing in Kaka's arms in tears.
Harivansh comes home drunk and angry at God. He says he's broken his promise about never drinking again because he doesnt owe God anything after the way he's allowed evil to triumph and their family to be destroyed. Sumitra watches as Harivansh yells at God and says he's lost his two daughters, he's absolutely lost everything. Billu holds him close and cries with him. Harivansh says was one monster like BBP not enough that he had to send an even greater monster like Dev Tripathi who betrayed their trust?
Dev is throwing himself a little pity party and says drunkenly that he has never done anything right or been able to respect a relationship. He is thoroughly useless.
Precap: Dev decides to kill himself.
At long last our collective nightmare seems to be on the verge of coming to an end. I believe BBP when he says he didn't kidnap Pooja but I dont buy his good guy act for a single moment and nor do I believe him when he says he would never harm Pooja. He's already harmed her beyond repair. Rangoli is an idiot.
