Pooja comes back to her room (her cousin has mysteriously vanished, so I guess now it's her room) and is completely lost in all the sweet things Brij has said to her and done for her, the old woman blessing their jodi.
She sees her diary and starts writing - she wants to fill all its pages with her thoughts but all she has is a feeling tickling the corners of her mind, she wants to sing in the middle of the street and talk for hours but all there is this feeling that she can't put into words.
Pooja falls asleep writing in her diary, lost in her thoughts of Brij. She wakes up as the morning sunlight falls across the bed and immediately thinks of going to the rehearsal because Brij will be waiting for her. She can't decide what to wear, however, and everything she owns is suddenly making her ugly or fat or she's worn a million times.
Arti is peacefully sleeping when Pooja calls her to ask for fashion advice. Arti can't figure out what is wrong with her sister and tells her to shut up and let her sleep, Pooja throws a huge tantrum. Arti begs pardon like a good elder sister and promises to always answer the phone when Pooja calls. She helps Pooja choose an outfit long distance.
Pooja is all dressed up and sneaking out of the house when her aunt catches her and wants to know where she's headed. It's only 7 am 😆 Pooja somehow gets out of there without eating breakfast and reaches the party office.
Brij hasn't arrived yet but the peon tells her that the crowd has gathered and the whole place is decorated because of the election victory against Sangram Singh. Pooja hears other people talking and decides to go get Brij a garland of flowers. Suddenly she realizes what she's saying 😆 and decides on a bouquet instead. Even then she's worried in case he takes the wrong meaning from it but pacifies herself that she's not getting him a red rose or anything. 😉
The florist hands Pooja a red rose bouquet and she nearly has a meltdown and chooses a more neutral one instead. But Brij still hasn't arrived so she calls Krish to see where everybody is for the rehearsal.
Krish is also sleeping but he jumps up when he hears Pooja is already at the party office and orders her not to move an inch and that he'll be there in 10 mins. He then goes through a mini version of Pooja's routine in the morning and rushes out to meet her.
Brij finally arrives from the political rally celebrating his victory with Daddaji next to him. As everyone hands him garlands and bouquets, Pooja shyly goes up to him and offers him hers. But Brij's face changes at the sight of her and he keeps looking at Daddaji next to him. He walks right past Pooja without acknowledging her or taking the bouquet himself.
Pooja's face completely falls and her smile disappears. She stands frozen in place while the crowd chants slogans and carries Brij and Daddaji past her. Brij keeps looking over his shoulder at her, plainly worried about the whole situation, but Pooja doesn't notice, almost close to tears as she stands there alone.
Precap: Krish is looking unhappy while an equally unhappy Pooja is standing at the mic. Giridhar tells her to sing, sitting down in a plush armchair right opposite her while his henchman stand behind him. Pooja sings sadly without her usual life and effort. G. seems to be enjoying it. Suddenly Brij storms out of his office and yells at everybody - "What is going on here? Is this a party office or a disco?" Everybody including G. look shocked and the music stops.
