@durum - well, I was just thinking while watching yesterday that if Brij is actually married, then it's strange that nobody's mentioned it yet. If he's such a famous and powerful politician, destined to be CM, then someone would know he's married. Esp if it's to one of Daddaji's relations.

In that scene in which Pooja manages to reinstate Krish as the director, Bhavna thanks her for introducing her to Brij and indicates she has a crush on him - but doesn't mention anything about his marital status, which she probably would if he was a crush.

Or would she think everyone knew that Brij was married? 😕

I think Brij might be engaged or maybe he wanted to get engaged or something but maybe he was married but something went wrong and so he now lives like a single man. So he's single but technically he's not.

I'm confusing myself. 🤣

We do think alike LOL!! I so agree that nobody has mentioned a preexisting wife. Brij is an enigma and they are revealing him layer by layer. Arrey ye serial style thriller mera dimaag paka dega😡!!

I really wondered about the wife. The blurb for the serial says "The show is about how in the quest to fulfill dreams & ambitions, values take a back-seat. And how, in a time when people want to achieve their dreams at all costs; people in power believe they can get away with anything." Alternate to the ""already married" theory I think that Brij sold his soul to the devil (daddaji) shortly after he dropped off the bag with pooja. There maybe a wife/fiancee (? possibly with a child out of wedlock ?) that Brij has to accept so that he can be anointed the political successor. The girl may be someone who had in the past abandoned him as might have his birth parents.

BBP was not squeamish about introducing pooja to daddaji after she had rescued him from the mazhar shootout. But the way he ignored her at the 'vijay samaroh' with daddaji was downright rude and ungrateful, considering that she was the reason that he is alive at all and that Aparajita was in a safehouse.

When bbp left Bhopal with Pooja in the middle of the night towards Pachmarhi and Hbad he had been feeling attracted to her, but a car ride, a smooth political move, a tripped fuse, a broken scooter and a campfire over two days led him to irrevocable attraction. Her puppy love (it still has to be tested) and heady trust and hero worship sealed the attraction. She still has no idea who he is (and neither do we😕, we are still in Pooja's comatose FB after all). This heart tugging romance is a stolen 3 -4 day interlude from the greater political narrative of BBP's life. We still have absolutely no idea what this man's life agenda is. All we know is that atm, following the wake of pooja and her family, most of us viewers like him but unlike pooja we are also somewhat wary. It maybe that given his abandonment issues, bbp trusts and respects no one but himself, not even pooja though he cares about her deeply...love might be something alien to him - unlike pooja who has been surrounded by it all her life...( Oh it is a hindi serial, not a movie or a book😆😆!!). Will Puja will be overwhelmed by more of bbp's favors (mother's illness, maybe sister's marriage) or will she reach out to some one else? (I wish she would develop her older sister's attitude and independence but pigs could fly for this ingenue before that happened).

ATM, I am mildly concerned about the stepchild treatment that Life ok is giving SKBM...if they announced their programming properly and gave us spoilers we would not be so worried!!

even if brij turns negative... remember he said " bigadde chizo ko thk karne ki aadat hai ek bar aazma kar dakh lena" so may b he becomes good later on...😳 and may he realize his love for pooja ❤️

- I am kicking this thread up again becuase I am very intrigued by the thriller part...

...The romance is great...the cast is wonderful...I am very impressed with Kamna

But I am really curious to know what the other forum mates have noticed as clues to the future in the serial

- some additional clues seems to be that BBP spent a part of his childhood in Daddaji's house (or courtyard). He got hurt often (abuse?). His behaviour changes around daddaji and giridhar. He has a lot of control on his emotions. I do not think that he is an immediate blood relative (maybe to Daddaji's wife)..is he the child of some distant relative, or even a servant? Why did daddaji's wife not know that pooja had rescued BBP? If indeed this was such a big deal to daddaji or the haveli, would it not have been the cause for at least a minor celebration and felicitation of pooja - it is not common to have a loved one shot at on a regular basis!!

I think violence is a big part of these people's lives. Brij says Sangram Singh is a goonda but he and all the people he knows are all traveling around with private armies.

They're also very conservative. And the precap made me wonder why Brij isn't married yet if he is in fact single. It's very, very unlikely in that kind of milieu.

And I also think that Daddaji might not object to the Brija relationship as long as he didn't think there was a prior relationship there because these are not the kind of people who'd object to a man marrying a teenager I think. They're the kind of people who'd object to a man romancing a teenager. Although that might be too fine a point to draw for a TV show.

I've decided to not make any predictions until we know something more. Every single time I think this show is going in one direction it just ends up somewhere else! 😆

in first epi the way pooja was shot atleast three times🤢and then was shown taken to hospital in ambulance will she shown alive when flasbck finish or dead❓if dead then brij will be held responsible for her murder and will go to jail her sister arti will fight for her.but if she survive then what will happen❓

If Pooja dies, the show will tank...Aarthi or no aarthi. If pooja survives, we will see an evolution in the brij-pooja relationship. Kamna is a newbie but even in this short time seems like an excellent and adaptable actress. Rsingh too is known for being a versatile actor- though this is the first time he has taken on a romantic protagonist (and is doing a good job at playing it) - he will definitely be upto the challenge of a changing character.

My take

Brij ran away from his home and came to bhopal to realise his dreams. he slept on a mat at the dargah, worked durinng the daytime as mechanic, plumber, whatever and studied by night...mentions nightschool (ref dargah scene wiuth pooja 13th jan) . i understood, he spent part of his childhood to adulthood...till almost the current time at daddaji's place and daddaji and his wife seem to be his adoptive parents and both of them esp ammaji being very fond of him ( ref: baati dinner episode and shivratri). Maybe he was picked up by them from mazaar or at a place where he was working seeing his potentials intelligence, diligence..blah blah...he seem to be brought up by daddaji +mrs Daddaji lovingly (malham and all, daddaji smiing fondly +thanking pooja for saving his life just like any mother) and trusting completely on him financial decisions of party etc. He also mentions him as his guroor. also daddaji seems either childless or maybe lost his child and adopted brij. G calls him chachaji. G is jealous of Brij maybe since childhood bcoz brij is given more importance in everything when he doesnt even belong to the family. Brij has also in recent times stopped staying at daddaji's house and it hasnt been revealed where he lives and why he doesnt live with daddaji anymore...but there's some suspense here,,,bcoz daddaji gave strange looks to brij while he explained this to G's son. as to ammaji not knowing about pooja...it seems she knew some girl had saved his life but didnt know her name.

as brij was sitting on the terrace jhoola thinking about pooja...i loved his expression. he looked vulnerable somehow. half the time i think he ordered the goons to kill pooja,,,but try as i might when i see all brija moments and whenever he thinks about pooja, he has that tender expression

which convinces me its not him...but who knows. depends on how their relationship progresses, pooja's ambition and how krish comes in picture...

and most importanty...deepak pachory knows better
