As most of you know, I'm a huge ViNa fan and I'm on strike with this show. I refuse to watch. I do occasionally come here to check for any news or video clips of Nikhil and Mahima. I said in another post that we fans get to see them more off camera and in other shows than on SSLK.

I feel the CVs have done terrible injustice to ViNa, and especially to Rachna's character. Instead of making her evolve they have made her worse than she was before. Did she not learn a single thing from her experience doing the bag business and then participating in the fashion contest? The CVs made her take two steps backwards instead of forward by turning her into someone with the mind of a child, totally obsessed with her parents and family. Family love and comittment is a wonderful thing, but Rachna is almost an adult now. Why is she having such strong attachments to her parents now? Has she not learned anything living with Gunjan? How to be independent and strong? Gunjan also loves her family but Gunjan is not shown kissing up to them every second of the day. Gunjan was even willing to fight her own father to be with Mayank. Why can't Rachna have the same kind of loyalty to Vihaan?

I feel the CVs made 2 huge blunders with Rachna and Vihaan's storyline. The first one was the drug bust at the party they attended. Had that stupidity not occured, Vihaan and Rachna would have made advancements in their relationship. That whole "Rachna goes into business" story could've been handled a lot better. It was a major let-down. She didn't even continue the business!

The CVs' next mistake is bringing in someone new for Rachna. Not only is it foolish and unbelievable that Rachna would suddenly stop loving Vihaan and fall for an older neighbor of hers, but it is basically a repeat of the track with Gunjan and Aditya. The assumption is that Rachna's parents will push for her marriage and consider this neighbor as a potential groom. Rachna will cave into her parents's pressure so that she can be a good girl and do whatever they want and in the process convince herself that she loves this guy. Just like Gunjan tried to convince herself that she loved Aditya and would be happy with him. Thankfully the Gunjan-Aditya wedding nonsense didn't last too long. I hope the same is true for this track with Rachna and her neighbor. And above all I hope Nikhil stays on the show as Vihaan.

To be honest I was never a Vihaan fan but here the question is about ruining one protagonist,s story ( rachna,s) to give more screen space & time for the other protagonist of the show( Gunjan)

Rachna was always sidetracked & her development neither being independent nor her love life was given any importance🤢

They never had a redemption track for Vihaan who was outright evil all thru and over the weekend chills out & is presented monday morning as the next best guy inSslk ( first being Mayank🤣)

Rachna was always shown as a suppressed daughter till date. She was made to look like a good for nothin in the FOTY track😡

She was a total looser in the promising business track🤢

Now all of a sudden they realize Vihaan was somewhere around there so they give him lambi cliched dialogues😆 of self appraisal & throwing favors on Rachna & our lady rachna turns sherni from billi &walks away( same scene btw Mayank & Gunjan)

All talk about self respect blah blah & the shed tears pine & get back together👏 story katam🤣

I became an irregular watcher and infrequent visitor to SSLK forum after Rajeev left the show. Can't comment on Rachna's business track. Designer show was an okay track (except for the dresses Rachna designed and her dressing 😕). Break up with Vihaan - This track should have been after her engagement. Cvs have come back to this after everything is over (they becoming business partners etc). It is as if, some one asking the connection between Ram and Seeta after full Ramayana story.

Now Adi-Gunjan track part 2. Along with song remix (har kisi ko nahi milta), now there are track remixes, that too from the same show.😲

They have totally ruined both the female characters, Rachana and Gunjun.

Rachana will always been shown as a loser despite a few accomplishments here and there followed by the 16th century sanskaars, parivaar, beti, ghar ki izzat tags. Yet, she is shown to fall in and out of love at a drop of a hat (Rajeev, Vihaan, newbie neighbour).

Gunjan the modern wonder woman will always have Seemas and Sangeetas around along with the neighborhood ammas of saasuma gangs. The latest idiocy being Gunjan refusing to be at her own morcha because the monster-in-law was threatening to show her deadself (mera maraa hua mooh nautanki) on halloween.

All the men are henpacked and the ones that are a bit aggressive in their appraoch (Vihaan) is considered Raavan's shishya (after all the sincere efforts Vihaan made in helping Rachana at every step, the crazy woman's craze for her papa Daiyalal did not make a difference)

Yep you are right..lots of mistakes with the story ...they need to clear the mess now... or they will lose viewership... rachna will reamin a 'behanji' and vihaan will go back to being a 'playboy'
