SSLK TRPs-My take

Guys let's accept that people like us on IF or those ardent mayan fans on FB and other social networking sites are probably a tiny percentage of people who constitute or control the so-called TRPs.

If we look at the drop in TRPs, the show started declining in TRPs when they shifted the focus completely to the Garg family drama with marriage ceremony going on for 3 weeks or so, seema's mausi arrival, seema-sangeeta-mausi scheming, and that 3 week long Mayan honeymoon.

You can show the romance but for how long. You also need a strong storyline.

The show was at its peak in terms of TRPs when they had interesting college tracks and there was some balance in the storyline.

The decline in TRPs is not sudden and abrupt. SSLK is the same show that was in the top 5 for several weeks and was even number 1 at one point (I think only a week or so).

No one wants to see only saas-bahu drama and endless scheming.

agree with you...it had a good story line in the beginning but then it just went downhill!!

They had a decent track till vihaan s exposure then sadly went downhill . . .

The honeymoon was dragged endlessly. I thought it will never end.😆

Instead of rachna and gunjan, if rajeev helps Vihaan. This is the right time to bring Rajeev. But they have killed him mercilessly. Such a gem of a character.

We want to see these girls going to college and having college related issues. Not marriage and saas-bahu drama. There is already enough of that on other serials.

They need to send Rachna and Gunjan back to college and have some issues there. Send Seema and Prabhu and Sangeeta and Gopal on a vacation for a while,

Bring the focus back to ladakpan.
