The dialogue "sachha pyaar ek baar hota hai" copied from i think a srk movie kuch kuch hota hai. But even in the movie srk marries kajol at the end even though he fell in love with rani first. Even in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo loved Rosali before falling for Juliet. His love for Rosali was pure but they were not meant to be.
I have always believed that a person falls in love many times but finds true love once. I don't think Mayank is Gunjan's true love, he might love her but this is not true love.

I totally agree with u 100% and gunjan would eventually get over Mayank by spending more time with Rajeev with we aren't seeing more of at the moment...soo yes it would be disappointing it that happens
