Friday's episode was mostly a filler episode with all the thoughts of each character being revealed. Thus, the underlying theme is desire.
Desire

Almost every character has expressed a desire at some point of the serial thus far, except Rajeev, who remains a closed book until now.
Mintu's desire to avenge his "humiliation" by Gunjan and Rachna has led him to commit yet another felon! I think it was Gunjan who was kidnapped since she was closer to the door and partially in the light, which showed that the victim had straight hair as opposed to Rachna's newest fancy, curls. 😉
Once again, I will elaborate that Gunjan has had many hits and misses to find out the truth about each guy, Vihaan's and Mintu's, plan. Nevertheless, it's a serial and the drama must continue. 😆 But this clearly indicates that Gunjan will eventually have a lot of trust issues in the future! 😒 "Once bitten, twice shy," is the saying and this certainly describes Gunjan's future! 😭 Many times she has been betrayed and I feel that after this engagement and kidnapping fiasco, she will be emotionally closed to the outside world. This will definitely give both Rachna and Vihaan a chance to repent. But in a different sense. Rachna's love and care hereafter will once again convince Gunjan that their bond is strong and that she will never distrust her in the future, since we all know, as per spoiler, that Rachna and the family will be blaming poor Gunjan.
Now Vihaan's desire to get Gunjan, has led him to cause the emotional trauma that will occur post-kidnapping. Hence, he will need to repent. [By all means, I'm NOT supporting his actions, but if the CVs plan on him redeeming himself, I love to see him care and support Gunjan].
Another note-worthy point - I loved the fact that Pihu wanted nothing to ruin her sister's engagement! She may be rude and dispicable, but she genuinely wishes good for Rachna, unlike Sangeeta, Charu and Seema. Seema and Sangeeta do care for Rachna, but they are not sensible enough to know it, much less show it! 😉
These are a few situations I would love to highlight! 😃
Vihaan VS Mayank
I have seen many debates about this particular topic and I would just like to share my views, since now seems best. 🤔
Both Mayank and Vihaan will need to redeem themselves individually in Gunjan's eyes. Both men desire Gunjan, but neither has proven that they are worthy of her!!! 😡
Anyways, I mentioned that Vihaan can redeem himself by helping an emotionally detached Gunjan and nurse her back to the bubbly personality we all love! However, Mayank's case is entirely different. Some may go on ignoring an important fact that he has a wife, even he can do that, but I can't! Even if it was a planned switcheroo, Mayank placed the sindoor in Charu'smaang and the mangalsutra around her neck declaring to the world that she's his wife. And I can certainly see the CVs sending a wrong message by having a married man spend hours caring for another woman whilst ignoring his wife. 😡 We already have lots of cases where men declare their superiority and I don't want to see this here. Mayank can divorce Charu for all I care, but showing more attention than needed to Gunjan now will just send the wrong message. Many will argue that he loves her but my question is, if he loves her, why didn't he show this same care when he insulted her in public and made her a laughingstock! Yes, there's no difference between Vihaan and Mayank but Vihaan isn't married to Rachna. If he was, my opinion will go to him as well.
Gunjan's acid attack VS Gunjan's kidnapping
Both situations are emotionally traumatizing for the victim and sadly, Gunjan was a victim to both! 😭 So I would love to see the difference here on how she'll get over the fear and trauma! During her acid attack, Mayank declared love, called her beautiful and kissed her, but this is another sensitive situation and I would love the same realistic approach and highlight the difference of the methods used to take one out of the shell! 👏
