Gunjan and Rachna did take the prank too far especially when he had come to their home for the first time. We need to remember that Vihaan is a human being also and even though Rachna and Gunjan's hearts were tangled with other people at the time of the prank, Vihaan was falling for Gunjan with the belief that she was his fiancee. They were both madly in love with Mayank and Rajeev that they did not realise what they were doing to Vihaan with their prank.

Gunjan revealed the truth to him in front of all his friends and that obviously hurt him. Now that does not mean that he has a right to humiliate them in front of everyone.

But I did understand his point that he fell in love with Gunjan thinking that she was the one he had to marry.

Having said all that, he should not have waited until the day of the engagement to embarass them in that manner. He could have refused the proposal before that.

I hope that he realises the level of humiliation the girls have to face and just how wide the rift he caused and sincerely apologises.
