Mayank for Gunjan???

I really like this new show. At least, it is quite a bit different from the usual saas-bahu or stupid scheming/saajish shows.

One thing that bothers me personally a lot is that the CVs might actually pair Mayank with Gunjan. Sorry, but, no offense to Mayank fans. It is just my personal opinion and no way reflects on the actor. Mayank's character is quite a bit of a sexist with opinions about what a girl can or cannot do.
Plus, he is like what, hardly 21 yrs of age since they've shown that he is still in engineering college.

And I'm not just saying this because gunjan and mayank didn't get off to a great start or are always fighting. I feel that Gunjan needs someone more mature.

It was so ridiculous for him to argue that Internet is not good for girls as there is bad stuff on the internet. Really, are we in the 1960s???? And who is anyone to discriminate between girls and boys as far as using internet is concerned. Even the fact that their family is conservative doesn't justify this argument coming from someone like Mayank who is supposedly studying in an engineering college.

I hope they bring in someone new for Gunjan. But, then I also have almost little to no hope for that because they would want to show gunjan becoming a daughter-in-law of the family.

I totally agree. Mayank is really annoying and I think Gunjan was justified for most of her actions

The way the show is going it looks like they will be the lead pair. However I would have loved to see her paired with someone else, as Mohini19 said he is sexist.

I agree I think Gunjan is too good for him. He is sexist, spoilt. pompous and his family treats him like God while Rachna has been moulded to be a wimpy little girl.

Mayank is portrayed as a male-chauvinist with very orthodox views about women. I also found what he was trying at the dinner table with Charu a little distasteful considering they are barely engaged (he came across as a despo to me).

Maybe Gunjan will transform him, but right now he definitely doesn't look like the lead of the show.
I think Gunjan is too young for marriage anyway.

No way yar mayank is rachna's cousin so he is also cousin of gunjan.how can they make a pair?
