Parul's mom to perform Yagna
Parul Chauhan, who plays Ragini in Babul Ka Sapna Bidaai, fainted on the sets during her wedding sequence.
And when her mother came to know about it she thought that it was because of something evil so she has decided to perform a yagna for her.
About the incident and her mother's beliefs, Parul says, "On the sets Vibhaji, who is playing my mother in the show, felt that there is something wrong and that is why I fainted. Therefore she applied black tika at the bottom of my foot and near my ear. Then when my mother came to know about this incident, she also felt the same so she has decided to perform yagna from our jyotishiji."
Right now Parul's mother is in Lucknow and so the yagna is likely to take place in February. "My jyotishiji is in Jammu & Kashmir and when he comes back, he will decide the date and place. He is very good and his advice has proved useful for us earlier. If the yagna happens in Lucknow I doubt whether I will be able to attend it or not but I will try."
Speaking about her mother's possessiveness, Parul says, "My mother is very protective about me like all moms. During the entire wedding scene she cried a lot. She tied a black thread, which wards off evil, to my left leg, hand and waist as well. Every Tuesday she also conducts my aarti to keep evil away from me. She gives me tiffin everyday and forces me to eat fruits and all. Further, she also warns me that if I bring anything back she will not talk to me. That's not all, mom also cooks food for my co-actor Sara who lives alone with her brother in Mumbai."
In the show, Ragini's wedding was supposed to take place. However, her mother-in-law rejected her after watching her sister Sadhna who is fairer and even insulted her parents.
