9:00 pm slot - RS's views

In today's article on Telly Buzz RS spoke about his new show on colors Havan and also about 9:00 pm slot. His views are making me wonder what next about Bidaai2.😕

Do you think the 7 PM slot is one of the most challenging slots?
Indeed it is a challenging slot and we have a mountain to climb as the highest rated show runs in that slot. But in Indian television the time-slots have been redefined because nobody has ever thought that 7 PM slot would become one of the highest watched slots. Today we also see that the 9 PM slot does not get good results and whenever I get the 9 PM slot it is a little scary.

now why does he have to say that when he ruled the 9:00 pm slot for three years and his show ended like a winner.😕.

I gues he means to say that he was ruling the 9 pm slot after axing Bidaaii people have relovted and maybe SP is also annoyed why Bidaaii was pulled off when it was No1
I feel he feels that yes thats the toughest time

But see 10 :30 SONY is doing well inspite of Pratigya

I think yes the fear for 9 pm slot is always there

Well maybe he means for diya baati or gulaal. becuase after bidaai 9 slot didnt work for them.

Rekha , Shows which are airing between 7 - 10:30 is the crucial time line I feel,
Actually 7 pm is just the housewivs who watch working people usually start at 8:30 to 10:30 so now wonder if 7 pm wuld really be that crucial , or maybe for the masses it wud

U see PR people watch 9 pm diligently and the show has been on the charts

7 pm may be crucial but it may change with the way people view the shows concept

After Bidaai ended 9:00 slot has not worked for Sp neither for Colors but it seems to work for Sony as it at present rules the time slots from 8:30 pm onwards until 10:00 pm, Kbc is doing better than last year.
Iam bit worried as Sp seems to have many upcoming shows by SGP, Pratigya producer, Karan wahi's new show, that political drama, Maa, even Rajshri's and many more.

Infact at present shows from 8:30 to 10:00 are failing due to a reject of SP. SP thought there was nothing left in KBC and look where it is now.😉. same goes for 9:00 pm slot.

OLD IS GOLD. for sp only yrkkh sathiya pratigya are working. sgp fall down i like sgp but now it semms people are not liking it that much. navya was goood but then it fail as well. yeah IPKKND is climbing it is one show which is impressive. i dont know how long will sathiya will handle itself i think it will fall down tooo as for pratiga tired of seiing same track repeating so only yrkkh is left i hpe it rocks further as welll. looking foward to the diffrences between both familyes. diya baati navya gulaal maryada dor failed to impress viewers

I feel all these new showe SP is pipeline will see some tremor..

Also The quality of the shows seems to be diverting attention of teh viewers to other channels

KBC has put lot of money and its also having stars to come for the chanel and the show and the way AB talsk to the contestants its attracting a lot of crowd, SONY has also shown growth in the GRPs so 9 pm has a lot of such changes

Now with the new show of SP at 9 pm not gaining viewership and dono what will hapen in the future if it doesn't give the required results then wil SP push another show there??

The saying once bitten twice shy will carry on until they get the show which was puled off at No 1

See 7 pm may be a challenge now but the prime time whether in India or all over the world would be 8:30 to 10:30

my views the 9pm has always been a slot to watch out..its a peak time one as its viewers are very choosy of the genre of show given to them .

@Saveeta , also even with the 9 pm slot since the contenders were week after Bidaaii ended 7 pm ruled, the articles also say that SP did'nt get any boost after ending Bidaai , So for RS to say that its more like I ended the No1 running show and SP is feeling the pinch...
Or visa versa , since they both did'nt want to shift it to afternoon , I guess since when Bidaaii was in talks of ending last september and then the track started to gear up , they had already given the slot to another show and then they had to end Bidaaii at a high note
I still cannot understand how a show can end at No1 if teh TRP's are the mover and shakers.

Anyhow I think that now with so many shows SP is trying to fit , I am sure other channels will even succeed in other time slts ..

But his main focus is to get his new shows running

11:30 has no competition so Marayada is enjoying its cake there and not bothered abt TRP's and SP is also giving it its freedome

Shanti, Maryada used to come at 11:30 slot , now it has 11:00 pm slot and is faring more better
