Rajan Shahi did a commendable job 3 years ago when he made this beautiful serial Bidaai. It was a lease of fresh air on star plus. In bidaai (like all the later shows by RS) there was so much focus on human emotions and these emotions were brought to the front by real talented actors like alok nath, amardeep jha, parul chauhan.

The only criticism that was done was the 7 year leap just to extend the show but even the story after the leap has absolutely been great and therefore there should not be any more criticism for that.

One hiccup in this serial was Karan, the illegitimate child of Inderjeet Rajvansh. That was not required...such a part did not suit bidaai.

Definitely RS makes great serials and he should be respected as he did not betray his audience by shifting bidaai to an afternoon slot and then stretching it unnecessarily. He decided to give it a proper ending in the usual timeslot even when the trp of the serial is good.

( do all of u remember kyunki never ended...its like betraying the audience .............similarly kayamath was shifted to 12pm slot.....nobody followed that slot........kasturi was shifted to 7pm saturdays and then 7am weekdays......nobody followed that)

i agree on time slot shift part but still wish star gave them one more month to concentrate on anmol properly as i feel injustice was done to actor of such great caliber,he shouldn't have been sidelined, but i am so thankful to rajanji for listening to our plea and ending show with such grace and dignity with much needed anmol track.

Nice post and you have made a beautiful statement abt the criticism post leap !!

The only criticism that was done was the 7 year leap just to extend the show but even the story after the leap has absolutely been great and therefore there should not be any more criticism for that.

I look at it as the flow was very much needed as it would have been cliched and some point of time leaps need to be taken.

Definitely RS makes great serials and he should be respected as he did not betray his audience by shifting bidaai to an afternoon slot and then stretching it unnecessarily. He decided to give it a proper ending in the usual timeslot even when the trp of the serial is good.

I can second that with you and I would see that with any director who can make quality shows to entertain the viewers

The closers are very important in a show and i am glad he is sticking to the flow and pattern of show of the character who play the roles !
