Sam how do you celebrate diwali there Yaar

aww anju so let me put my thinking cap on,diwali we celebrate ,i personally go to temple and take kids too ,and some mithai we do and also patake also in gurdwara campus they allow....but not like her one India,jab se meri shadi hui i celebrated 3 diwalis only dhoom dhaam se in india..baki sirf as i said ghar ke ander diya karte hain aur temple,here wind blows very fast in autumn,no way diyas can stay lit

Ragini was sitting in a corner, away from tourist rush .

She turned and looked at far figure of Anmol and Ana .They were standing on banks of Yamuna watching Majestic Taj with its full glory of moonlit night.

Ragini was thinking about happy times of her childhood , youth, memories 'she felt transferred back into those days of carefree life .

Suddenly it was lot to take and she bent her head. Anmol saw this from far and could see the change of her posture and he came forward..

Kya hua

Ana caught the last phrase

She saw Anmol's eyes lost their twinkle; she had seen it happening often in past few days. She had seen Ragini's insecurities and then a certain level of aloofness. She was very thoughtful

At night she couldn't sleep '

She started reflecting on the evening..she remembered how Anmol had tried to talk Ragini into a better mood, but she realized how Ragini kept talking about her family,kids and even her sister Sadhna. While it was very nice to talk about all this, she felt a bit sad as Ragini had not even asked her once about her pain ,her struggle to survive and come to terms with tragedy, or even Anmol and her family. Anmol had told her Ragini was told bit before and now Ragini was simply pre-occupied with her daily life.

Suddenly she heard a voice .beta tum ko uski zindagi mein khushi laani hai wapis'.

She got up,her flight was tomorrow ,She had to go and come back; somehow she did not want to leave Anmol ,she felt he needed her there; she had seen his bonding with evryone,Alekh Tammy ;khushi gunni he was their star ;somehow she felt Ragini took him for granted ,she doesn't understand...

Use kho diya maine ,main janti hoon uski keemat...

She felt she had work ahead of her'.

Anmol has to be happy..

Kaise kis ke saath'.us sawal ka jawaab abhi nahi tha us ke paas...

A determined and very bright anamkika greeted Ragini in kitchen

She threw Ragini a glance ,which left ragini confused and very worried

Ragini was stunned, she felt as if Ana had slapped her.

He would have married me ,she went on in a frenzy ;oblivious to Ragini's strickening expressions .I was so stupid I told veer to show me how to drive, All were so happy they gave in to his insistence. Anmol could have driven; her voice was reaching a frenzied pitch.

I lost everything once thanks to my stupid mistake and second time I lost him because of you...you who doesn't even know what he likes, who has made no effort to understand him

Yet he belongs to you and I am nobody .

Tears were rolling down Ragini and Ana's cheeks.

Suddenly Ana said sweetly so bana dengi na please..

Ragini saw a composed woman sweetly smiling tears wiped off; only her eye lashes had few drops tucked as glistening diamonds.

Haan theek hai she said stunned.

2months later

Ragini was sitting alone ,she and Anmol had rough 2 months ,so much had happened in this time span .Vasu had created a storm by marrying Alekh to a woman of questionable morals. Now thanks to her ,Khushi was suffering ,alekh had attempted suicide,which was averted by Anmol's quick thinking and now 2 weeks back Sakshi had created a storm by bringing Ranvir out of closet once more, this time in front of Tammy ,but there too only Anmol could make Tammy understand, she had failed miserably but her husband had sat beside Tammy and told her she was sole reason of his existence , she remembered how Anmol had told Tammy that he would leave the house and go but would always remain her dad ; she smiled despite these tense moments; Tammy had hugged her dad and she could close that chapter of her life forever. Thank god now she could concentrate on alekh and khushi.

Anmol was sitting at work, he had just gotten off the phone with Ana ; a soft smiled crossed his lips .

Ana knew him so well, she asked right questions, she never demanded any attention; he was human after all

He loved ragini, supported her, but the last 2 months of stress were taking toll on him, only that kept him going was love of his little angel Tammy, she had accepted him without any questions and he felt despite Ragini's preoccupation he had some good come out of this Sakshi mess. Even vasundhra had accepted him finally, she had hugged him tightly and told him; I am proud of the fact that my son saved you; so you could be our saviour;our future;our son.

Please don't say that Mrs. rajvansh he had said.

I would exchange places with Ranvir if i could, he had said with teary eyes

Beta It was time for Ranvir to go, I was wrong in blaming you she had said; it was destiny.

She had told him she was glad he was her son now.

Now what had gotten into mummyji's mind he thought .anniversary party for them, come on he groaned, my wife hardly even looks at me, she is too busy being a bahu and mom he thought irritably.

11 30pm

Ring ring....

There it goes again, thought Ragini, a irritation flashed though her whole mind and body, every night same time, a smile on his face when he saw called ID

Hello sweetie, kaisee ho...That soft glow on his face; she turned to her side, and closed her eyes, every night he enjoyed this talk with Ana she pulled him out of his gloom,spoke to him about his life,his pehchan and how he should take Tammy to show his heritage...a thought and restlessness was driving anmol insane..

She heard about this anniversary party and Anmol's annoyance with Ragini.

She picked up the phone and dialed a number while holding her pencil in mouth, looking at computer screen attentively and said

Yes I would like to book a flight to Delhi

Yes one way please

Thanks.

She replaced the receiver and smiled
