Ragini was sitting down with khushi and Tammy, after a lot of problem sakshi had finally softened out a little and allowed Ragini to spend time with khushi at last. She was happy. TaShi wanted to spend this weekend out somewhere and not just at home. Ragini doesn't know what to say as Anmol and Inderjit are so busy these days that they will not be able to take the kids out. She tries to make excuses about taking them for a picnic next time. But tammy isn't willing to listen this time and insists on going over for an overnight picnic. "We will go tomorrow." Says a soft, yet a manly voice. Ragini and the kids turned around and found anmol entering the room with a smile carrying his bag and coat. He came straight to the kid's room as he needs to see his kids as soon as arrives home. TaShi jump up in excitement and hug Anmol, Ragini too was happy that he never once said no to the kids no matter what it'd cost him. His love for them was true and not just showing it off for the sake. Ragini takes his bag and coat and asks him to freshen up. Anmol gave that sweet smile of his and leaves to freshen up. TaShi quickly run over to their wardrobe to decide to take with them to the picnic. Ragini smiles seeing the kids happy and leaves the room to set the table for dinner.
Anmol comes out of the bathroom in his blue bathrobe, drying his hair. He sees Ragini taking out his fav blue kurta for him to wear. It surprised him as Ragini has never done this for unless he couldn't find anything himself. Anmol felt happy seeing her smiling. She gives him his kurta. Her face was glowing today; anmol wondered what had happened that Ragini was so happy. In the past few days her face was so gloom and she had bags under her eyes from all that crying during nights. But today it was nothing like that'he has never seen her as happy as today for the past 6 years. He finally manages to ask her the secret behind her happiness.
The excited Ragini says "Itne dino ke baad sab acha ho raha hai. Sakshi mein bhi kaafi badlav aa gaya hai. Pata hai aaj itne dino baad maine khushi ke saath waqt guzaara. Woh bhi bohut khush thi."
Anmol just silently listened to her with a smile, he wanted her to go and on. This is what he always wanted; he wanted to see his Ragini happy. When she noticed Anmol looking at her with so much love, she quietens down and says "main bhi kitni paagal hoon na'aap abhi abhi aaye hai aur main apni baatein lekar baith gayi. Aap jaldi se change karlijiye aur neeche aa jaaiye. Main khaana lagaati hoon." She was about to leave when anmol called out to her. She turned around and anmol just says "thank you!"
Ragini was confused "kis liye?"
Anmol looks down with a smile and then looks at her "mere saath apne khushi share karne ke liye."
Ragini who was looking down was no looking at him.
"Bas aap aise hi muskurate rahiye, achi lagti hai."
Anmol leaves to change, leaving Ragini with a smile on her face.
At the dinner table, anmol discusses about the overnight picnic. Vasu wasn't happy, while inderjit thought it was a good idea as they hadn't had spent time with their family for long now and its high time they had a small break from office. Vasu tries to make excuses so she wouldn't have to go, but on inderjit's insistence she agrees. Aalekh and Sakshi too were happy hearing about the picnic. Aalekh had become friends with Sakshi, but he still wasn't that close to her. Aalekh asks ragini to help in packing things, sakshi offers her help.
Aalekh says "tum karlogi?"
Sakshi with a smile says "haan."
Aalekh gets happy and he takes her to his room to pack his things.
Ragini and anmol exchange looks, she whispers a thank you, anmol responds with a smile. Things were getting better in their relationship as well. They didn't have any trouble sharing any problems and happiness with each other. Ragini is packing things for the picnic tomorrow; she does anmol's packing as well. Anmol was surprised to see that Ragini packed both their clothes in one bag, but he was happy as well. Things were going the way he actually wanted.
Anmol smiles and says "main aapki kuch madat kar sakta hoon?"
hearing anmol's voice ragini immediately looks up. She felt some kind of attraction towards him; she just wanted to look at his angel like face. He snaps her out of her senses.
"nahi bas hogaya." She mumbles.
Anmol laughs and says 'arrey aap toh aise ghabra rahi hai jaise ki aapki koi chori pakkadi gayi ho." Ragini laughs and says "thank you anmol."
"thank you? Yeh kis liye? Says anmol
"bacho ko itna pyaar dene ke liye, unki har choti si choti khushi ka dhyaan rakhne ke liye."
Anmol smiles and says "kamaal karti hai aap bhi, aakhir woh mere bhi bache hai."
This time anmol didn't once hesitate calling the Children his own; unlike last time on Tammy's 7th birthday. Ragini didn't say anything this time, but just responded with a smile.
"ab so jaate hai, subah jaldi nikalna hai."
Ragini nods with a smile, and go off to sleep. Anmol slept on his sofa, while Ragini took the bed. There's a knock on the door, anmol felt as if he had just fell asleep and now is being woken up. He rubs his eyes, to clear the vision and looks towards the bed. Ragini wasn't there. His eyes scanning the room searching for Ragini but she wasn't there. Another knock on the door, got him to get out of the sofa. As soon as he opens the door he sees Tammy and Khushi standing there with a smile. All ready for the picnic. Anmol is surprised to see them awake and ready so early.
"What papa, aap abhi tak ready nahi huye.
"Ready? Kyun? Picnic pet oh subah jaana hai na?" asks the surprised Anmol.
Tammy says "offo papa, time toh dekhiye 6 baj gaye hai. Aapne toh kaha tha ki jaldi nikal na hai."
It was 6am already? Anmol check his watch to be sure that it was 6am. He hears his bathroom door open. Out walks ragini, all ready in her dark maroon saree. Anmol's hart skipped a beat seeing her walk out of the bathroom in her wet hair. It reminded him of their night back from kaanpur, and how beautiful she looked that night. Ragini was surprised to see Tammy and khushi awake and all ready aswell.
"Tammy, khushi aap dono itni jaldi uth gayi?" asks the surprised Ragini.
"offo maasi ma, aap bhi bhul gayi. Aaj picnic pe jaana hai na." says khushi.
Ragini bends down to their level and pulls khushi's cheeks as she says "mujhe pata hai ki aaj picnic pe jaana hai."
Tammy says "offo papa, aap abhi tak yahi pe hai, jaaiye na jaldi tayaar ho jaaiye."
Anmol smiles and says "okay my little princess, main yun gaya aur yun aaya."
Ragini says "hum sab aapka neeche wait karte hai, aap jaldi se aa jaaiye."
It was 7 am now, yet no sign of anmol. TaShi were really getting eager and wanted to leave as soon as possible. Aalekh was as excited as the kids.
"ragini, tammy ke papa kahaan hai? Unhe jaldi bulao na..." Says aalekh.
Ragini goes to check on anmol, when she reaches her room, she bursts out laughing. Anmol was dressed all formally. He was confused seeing Ragini laughing so much. He looks at his clothes just to check if they were fine but he found nothing wrong in them. Then why was Ragini laughing?
"Aap yeh pehnenge?" asks Ragini still laughing.
"uhhhb...haan...kyun?" asks the confused anmol
"aap bhi na, hum picnic pe jaa rahe hai, koi business meeting pe thodi. Rukiye." Says Ragini as she walks towards the wardrobe. Anmol backs away allowing Ragini to search through the wardrobe. She selects a nice pair of jeans and a white tee. Anmol was a bit surprised as he hasn't worn such casual clothes in the past 6 years. But then again without saying anything he leaves to change. Ragini waits for him down stairs, followed by anmol.
Tammy was so happy to see Anmol in such casual clothes. He looked different but good. Ragini too couldn't manage to get her eyes away from him. He was truly looking handsome. Anmol knew Ragini had her eyes on him, but he chose to be a bit ignorant. "chalein?" asks anmol. Aalekh and Tashi scream "YAY" out of excitement, which snaps Ragini out of her senses. The kids run out the door with aalekh, while vasu, indu and Sakshi walk out. Anmol teasingly passes by Ragini, leaving her smiling.
