Alekh and Sakshi to wed in Bidaai

With Sadhna dead, Alekh's (Angad Hasija) family is planning a second marriage for him hoping that it will not only improve his mental condition but also will provide a mother to his daughter. The new entrant Sulagna Panigrahi, who plays Sakshi, agrees to marry Alekh. Incidentally, she already has a boyfriend, Tarun (Puneet Sachdev) but he persuades her to marry Alekh in a bid to wrest his wealth. Unaware of this, the Rajvansh family is all set to arrange a lavish engagement function for the couple followed by various ceremonies like sangeet, mehndi, haldi etc.
