Its human to err. To make mistakes. If humans do not make mistakes then they will not be called human beings.

In Arabic the word insaan comes from the word Ins, that is the one who errs, the one who forgets meaning the deficiency lies in the name itself.

No one is fault-less. Everyone commits sins.

Now the problem lies in How these sins can be stopped from being committed in the first place.

=====
When one sin is commited so often and it becomes rampant then it becomes accepted. Today in the western world if one has pre-marital intimacy its normal. To live with boy friends for many years before actually tying the knot is normal. Its even considered healthy.
If a boy is not dating by 13 then he has some social issues and is suggested to go to a counselor in the schools here.

So ... since there were no strict steps taken about the pre-marital relationships this sin became so rampant that it got accepted.

And according to your statement ( I do not live in India- and certainly not the India I remember) Today its very common in India and they realize it after they commit the 'mistake' and are sorry.

So eventually this sorry will turn in to , hey its my life, and then into, I want to understand my partner before I get into commitment and then it will become a norm.

So ... what is the solution?
forgiving ? accepting ? or setting examples that such acts are not committed in the first place..

Does chastity have no weight any more?

Secondly,
About forgiving.. who are we to forgive or not forgive. The person who has committed such sin should seek forgiveness from GOD.

About accepting, I cannot accept. Because this chastity is something we hope and accept from both partners and if one were to be indulged in that act then, it would only be fair that the person is honest enough to admit it.

If lets say sakshi does turn a good leaf, and she is married will she tell Alekh she was involved in a pre-marital relationship? Will Vasu then thrillingly accept her?

========
Now .. again I go back to my original statement if sara were to return as sadhana look alike her character will not be introduced as that of an immoral woman cause it wont go with her rep.

What the sorry would turn into depends on the person..So don't generalize that bit. If one is truly sorry, then God will forgive them..If God does, we should accept them as well...Because, each and everyone of us belongs to God first.

If Sakshi is honest enough to Aalekh and true enough to accept her sins, nobody should treat her as some untouchable because like Anjana said, we'd be committing a bigger sin than her.

And as for the Sara part, why not? It's Sadhna's look alike we're talking about, not Sadhna! 🤣
Her look alike needn't be like Sadhna, LOL! 🤣 As illogical as Sadhna's look alike may sound, Sadhna's look alike being just like Sadhna would sound every bit illogical as well. 🤣

So dump off the character? And give it no scope for improvement? Hehehe..If the character is meant to improve, it should be given every bit of a chance. After all, nobody is born perfect..Nobody dies perfect either..We're somewhere in between always! Should at least reach a respectable level.

I do not think she would be like Sakshi cause it doesn't flow with the story. Like I said before she could be anything else but not unchaste. Two different things.

If God forgave or not is something that is left with GOD. how would we know if God forgave that person or not? will we get a revelation ? or will an angel come and inform us of that so and so has been forgiven?

The repentance is something that is between the person and God you cannot say that God has forgiven because you do not know. You can hope so but you will not know until the day of judgement.

So.. Repentance has conditions.

People and God are different. There is nothing like GOD so we cannot compare our forgiveness to that of GOD.
God is merciful and there is no doubt in that. Aren't those who deny GOD still breathing the same air we do? If God wishes God would remove that blessing in a second.

So comparison by saying that When God forgives we should also forgive is a weak statement.

What people can do is implement what God has ordered. Which is tough.. That pre-marital intimacy is prohibited and the one who indulges in that sin is to be punished and only then will the repentance be accepted.

Such relationships cause breakage in families, causes social disorder, causes immorality to increase. Thus punishment is a must in this life.
Ofcourse, when the person gets the required punishement then on the day of judgement and the life here-after their sins are wiped clean.

There in lies the balance.

That there is fear in ones heart instilled by the punishment that one might face if one commits such acts in this life. A person should feel fear that if I do such and such act in this life I will be punished and only then they will stay away from it and the hope in their heart that if they do commit such sin their forgiveness lies with GOD (after getting the deserved punishment in this life)

This stops evils of the society , when people see other people getting punishment for certain acts like pre marital intimacy then they themselves will not do such acts. If we all say hey lets forgive then , the otehr person will find it easier to fall in the temptation and commit the sin and expect people to fogive him/her.

Thats not a solution, its a pavement for more sins.

========
lets take the example of Rape. According to many laws here in US people who rape ar enot put to death where as some countries such as nigeria etc. put the rapist to death. When people see that rapist are put to death then the no. of rapes in that area also decreases cause of fear. This again is proven via statistics. The highest rape that happens in the world is US and one of the least and the lowest rape incidents-based country is Nigeria.

So in conclusion,
A sin , commited by a person such as Murder, Stealing, Rape, Adultary , Pre-marital relationship are very very very huge and serious sins which have to be punished in this life and if not then there will be wide spread of such sins , continuing.

The Forgiveness of that person for eternal life lies with GOD and the hope that God will forgive them and make them enter into paradise is something else.
