**Mod's note**
Dear Members...you all need to understand that Mods r not robots but human beings too who hv their own personal lives and cannot keep moderating everyone like school kids 24/7 on the forum..thats why for your and our convenience a report button option has been provided so that if any offensive or instigating posts r made in the forum ..those can b reported...but unfortunately the members who r making these posts saying mods don't take any action,r not using the report option when those offensive posts r being made and then expecting the mods to search thruoghout the forum for those posts and then take instant action as if we hv no other work to do..
Now coming to whether action is taken or not...we r not suppose to declare it in the open forum whether action is being taken or not..but that doesn't mean action is not taken against the troublemakers...for everyone's kind information...one of the troublemakers is already banned...another member who yesterday opened a instigating post already has got a raise in warning meter...but what do you'll expect...we will everyday put up a long list explaining to all what action we take against those members ???..
Now coming to banning members...there r certain rules on IF which we mods follow and those rules r not decided by us but by the Admin of IF...We just cannot go on banning each and every members creating trouble here..as per the rules..any member who is bashing is given two verbal warnings followed by a warning PM and lastly a raise in warning meter...only those members who cross certain limits of decency in the forum get a direct ban,...and that too we don't hv rights to ban anyone...only higher authorities like GMs and admins can ban a member and that too if they feel its really necessary..we can only pass the names of those troublemakers asking for a ban..rest is upto the higher authorities....so before passing any judgements against the dev team or mods..first keep yourselves in our shoes and then think what difficulties we go through while dealing with different issues...
Bidaai is not the only forum where such fights happen among different fan grps..there r many forums on IF facing same problems...so if we mods start banning every member out here..then tomorrow IF will become a huge battleground with number of MID(Multiple ID) cases coming and starting a bashing post deliberately...so banning a member is not the only option to bring peace in the forum...there is something called conversation which needs to b done to explain the troublemakers about their faults and we as mods do it regularly via PMs ...only when they don't tend to understand we take the ultimate option of banning the members...its not a cake walk to moderate a forum and simply ban all members who r passing rude remakrs against a fan grp..sometimes we take decision practically and not emotionally....
I hope I hv made myself clear...Again I repeat action has been already taken against all those members who made instigating posts,..we don't need to justify what action has been taken here...and one more thing if a post is instigating..members should learn to simply report it and step out of that post rather than creating a chaos there and taking it till 40pages thus giving more air to the controversy...fights happen only when both the sides r equally involved...
For further queries there is always the PM option available...next time plss use that option if u hv any doubts rather than opening posts where fingers r raised repeatedly on Dev team despite giving so much effort to this forum..it really hurts sometimes..
