I would add my two cents about old day's actors...I also felt bad reading about the concept about old actors here. No thought, no talent change as per generation, its people's minds that undergo change. Madhubala died in 1965, but still she is remembered, Meena Kumari died in 1970s, even Nargisji two-three decades back..till now Raj Kapoor is called the greatest showman. Today, while naming Karishma or Kareena, still they are referred to as RK's granddaughters..
first of all to compare TV stars to those stalwarts is insulting to those stalwarts only..
secondly, apoorva has hhuge experience behind him, just like Ronit Roy. My understanding is an actor, more he tries variety roles, the more versatile he can prove himself. People are even calling SRK old these days, but he is an actor who tried every type of role from the beginning of his career, even negative characters. I remember Amir Khan turned down Darr because he did not want to play negative character, but SRK took up the challenge, and after that also he got offers of playing romantic leads...
