It's all about professionalism... A actor should and must play all kinds of roles to showcase his talent.

otherwise he/she will be stuck into just one kind of image.

I would like to give the examples of some famous stars who have once stuck to their image could never came out from that , so never got any other kind of offers and that left them in no man's zone.

kangana ranwat is playing mostly similar roles in all the movies and she once even mentioned that she wanted to do different kind of roles , but because of her image she is not getting too many offers..

Though kangana is hugely talented.

So as vidya balan.

she is also immensely talented, but because of her parinita image , she never could do any glamor roles.she even tried glamor role in kismat connection and hey baby, but didn't get appreciation

So an actor should be able to play all the roles..even beyond his/her comfort zone.that is called versatility

there r many actors and actresses who despite being not mother or father in real lives or at much younger ages, portrayed "parent" characters brilliantly...great examples are Sanjeev Kumar, Nargisji for Mother India and many many actors and actresses...

Old and new generations' thinking r not similar, a huge difference on way of thinking..........

In new generation also same thinks happens... Nothing changed...

Abhishek Bachhan plays the father of 13 yrs old in PAA and I am sure that adds to his credit only

I guess many actors are not even marrying till they reach 35 , let alone to think about kids, can anybody give me an example who is 30 yrs and father of 13 😆

moreover to reach abhishek's status one would even take more than 40 yrs
