I don't mind seeing Angad play a dad, and I don't mind if we got to see Sara playing a mom.

What I do mind is Angad going BACK to original loopy Alekh...which was absolutely precious in the beginning, but now seems like over kill. It's truly something to think he actually became normal at some point...after much struggle too!

So he was married to Sadhna for approximately 3 years...he was mental for 2/3 of it...and then he became normal. Now she's been gone for 7 years, and he's been mental again for 7.

What are they gonna do now? Is Anmol's "saat saalon ki kastani" going to end, and he'll not only gain Ragini's love, but cure Alekh too? LOL. Is Khushi going to do it...all of 8 years old...with those Googly Woogly Woosh chubby cheeks like her Mamma?

lol.

Beside this what is Angad playing now doesn't show him as real father as he is back to much as a child himself as Aalekh, not showing him as father at all, so it doesn't make any difference as for the viewers who have this way of thinking.......

For an actor, it's important to do acting and portray the role to such extent that the audience will also be connived with the character.

no matter what is somebody's age, somebody's feel or somebody's look

have u seen Amir khan , he played an out and out action packed hero in gajani and again he outplayed himself by playing a college going student in 3 idiots

Now that's called acting.

he didn't say , I am 45 yrs age old, how can I play a student

Exactly, but not every viewer think the same and actor has to satisfied all viewers, not only some few.........
Aamir Khan is already star, we can't compared him with an actor who just try to make a mark of himself..........
Actor when they get over 40, they would not disagree on doing a younger age 😉😆, See Amitabh Bachchan in Paa, thought I still haven't seen that film, but we all know that he plays Abhishek's son and doing a very young age........

Bingo! That's what I said in the other thread! I liked his logic, but he is not playing a dad. Yes he is Khushi's dad, but he himself is mentally unstable so the "challenge" of Angad playing a dad in Bidaai does not exist.
Also, AB Jr. is bad example. If the guy can give 12-13 flops in a row and still get work based only on his last name, then he can do whatever he wants in the industry and still get roles. AB Jr is what he is because of the name "Bachan". If he was not a star child, he would have been long gone and forgotten 10 years ago.

Exactly, I said too the same about Abhishek, he already has his family's name, so any role would work or not, will not matter for him to stay.........

I guess few people are just in denial mode.

I have seen this in past , nothing new.

to became today's amir khan, amir alos went through so many ups and downs, which today's' so called young stars can't do, because they just don't have it.

So called young romantic charms of today's industry just disappear after 1 or 2 show..

So it hardly matters. Only time will say

I like this discussion 😊
Aamir Khan's debut was a super hit, thought he has as u mentioned ups and down later on, but not to forget he came from a family who is much in this field, so he can get help............
Time change and even many people's way of thinking change, I am not talking about myself, I don't have anything against any hero playing a father, but to look on what most people want, not many agree on this, so I really don't blame any actor, coz they see what most people want, especially when an actor/actress is trying to make a mark.........

pls find put when the shooting schedule started for this Film...when ash was young, this film took years to complete ...there r numerous examples from thsi generation as well as older ones...if one does not want to pay heed to old generation actors, then its something different...today also when we name actors, people like Amitabh, Dilip Kumar, Nargisji etc's name only comes up. Dimple in real life became a mom at 17 years of age..
Pakeeza hit the floors many many years after it started to shoot..there r many examples like that
