Sadhna ke bare me mein kya kahoon? Mere liye bhi ab woh "Mere Sadhna" hai...

I've become an avid Bidaai fan just recently. I mean my mom started watching Bidaai during the entire RagVir marriage drama...we were all hookedddddd to the show and praying to see RagVir married soon...I stopped watching after that but Sadhna always intrigued me...then I came to college and I basically stopped watching everything on TV, lol..college life.

Anyway I went back home in March and I saw that my Alekh (I always loved Alekh, ghar mein to bas Angad ki acting ke charche hain...aur vaise bhi...my family is Punjabi so Angad gets extrta browny points for that...althought personally I couldn't speak Punjabi well if my life depended on it...I'm too American and then a Karachiite.) but anyway I got hooked on the show when I saw the way Angad made his transition from the old Alekh to the new one...and then of course, Salekh had me floored and I immediately fell for Sadhna's "khuddarri"...

Since I've come back to campus, I've rewatched MUCH of Bidaai on YouTube...and I've examined Sadhna's character from every angle and all I can say is...I love her.

I love her from day 1...her first concern from the first episode was her sister...her FAMILY...she endured everything...seriously she was mistreated by everyone except mamaji and Ragini (bless her!)...Malti backcstabbed her...and Kaushi was so bad...she even stopped to physical harm...

I love every episod e after she married Alekh...the way she fell in love with him...you can see her melting inside...the barriers around her heart breaking day by day...she just kept falling for him...to the point of worshiping him...

Alekh was suicidal...she gave him the spirit to live...Alekh trusted no one...he began to trust her...Alekh was looked down upon...she gave him the status of a husband, her better half...she won him over...I still remember the scene where Sadhna finds Alekh locked up in the outhouse...I sobbed watching that scene...Alekh is crying and in pain...and she has mercy on him..it was so touching...

Then she played a huge part in Anmol/Anamika track...she was Ranvir's pillar of support...she endured Vasu/Kaushi's scorn...but she stayed on her noble mission to unite two lovers...and give her sister happiness...

Sadhna is just so precious...and then she is so khuddar...she endures silently...that's very rare...she watched as her husband, whom she prayed for, cared for, and loved day and night drifted away from her...endured seeing him at work everyday...she's really something else.

She doesn't even need any awards...she's beyond all those things. This is one of the best characters on TV ever...

Like "Rano" of SGP....how she nags her husband to buy an ac for her daugher-in-law. Poor guy, though didnt like to do this, had to do this of majboori....

Infact, I would love to see something like this in Salekh relation also. I remember, Sadhna was shown a bubly girl when the serial started. Now somehow I am missing that in her (may be the situations were like that). Now, would like to see that innocent, bubly and cheerful Sadhna who nags (not controls ofcourse as it is not her nature) Alekh.

I was thinking the same thing. When Alekh was not normal Sadhna always looked happy and content (remember last year Valentine scene, during the Shlok track, etc) . I don't think I see that kind of happiness on her face anymore. Its like she's become too serious. Or maybe its just the current track. I don't know. Maybe its just me.

Alekh needs to get naughty with her again...I think the last time I saw pure happiness on her face was after Salekh reunion...when she was still in Mamaji's house and she would pine for Alekh...and when he bought her halwa..she ate it and smiled so much...it looked so real...and when Alekh would call her and then the way they looked at each other...she also looked really happy in the couple's first day at the now burned down house...

I wanna see her bubbly again too...I wanna see Salekh tease each other a bit...Sara is very cute and bubbly in real life...I wanna see that life back in Sadhna too...

actually, after over two years, CTs do not really need to prove any more that Sadhna is a pious character. They have shown over and over again her noble intentions, her endurance, her selfless love for everyone, her dutiful nature, her forgiveness...there is not a single quality that is not present in her character.

I was listening to a song today "Ram teri Ganga maili ho gayee,,,papi o ke paap dhote dhote"...and I felt Sadhna touched every person's soul and took away the sins or dirt from them and gave them a purified life, so that they also can taste what a pure life is, how a life should be led. She became an example of endurance and dignity, duty and love. She became a "Gold Standard" for people to follow her. She is a leader in every sense of the term.

CTs do not need to show anything more about her. She is just perfect, now its other people's turn to show how Sadhna has influenced their lives and let them walk on this path of truth and duty, which Sadhna by her example showed them.
