Awww that's so true!!!! Of course, when you separate any two people truly in love this is what they feel - they might go on breathing but lose their purpose of life! I believe Alekh will go mad again, and have hopes that Sadhna will return (even if that's not the plan now, they'll have to bring her back due to public demand). Just praying she's not gone too long though!
And if her absence is not too excruciatingly long, slow, painful and torturous, this track might just serve to make Alekh's love stronger (Sadhna's love has always been strong enough to turn evil into good and wrong into right...Alekh's love might still have room to grow)!
Nice post.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I don't know if Alekh can love her more than he does now, but maybe he can.
In my favorite book,
Jane Eyre , for moral reasons, Jane leaves her husband to be, Edward Rochester. Rochester becomes nearly mad. He also goes blind in a house fire, and crippled as well. He dreams of her return every night. I feel like we can get a scene like that in Bidaai, if Sadhna is to return. In the book, Rochester hears her voice but of course he can't see her, and she comes near him and he grabs all of her, and says "this has to be my Jane, am I dreaming?"...beautiful reunion...perhaps the Salekh reunion can be like that...with Alekh not believing his eyes...saying that she would come back in his dreams every night...and he'd wake up just as desolate every morning...but man it could be such a beautiful scene!
I don't know what they're going to do. But they have to realize Salekh's charm. They cannot end this story already...it is too beautiful to end this way.
