Hello all!
Just my personal view so no offence intended!
I just think that intimacy in our family-audienced dramas is soo rediculous. It just doesnt suit them.. I think the industry should stick to our indian morals and cultures and not show the sexual side of relationships so boldly.. Not bein narrow minded- just a thought.
I know alot of us wanted to see the couple come together but I think him gettin almost on top of her is a little too much! (Im a married woman- so Im not bein imature about it either)

ya but its not like indians are kids right.....i mean its a natural thing that happens between a man and a women who are in love!!!.....i think the way they portrayed saalekh in todays episode was juz beautiful...nothin vulgar about it....they didn't even show them kiss!!....that itself is pretty decent if u ask me 😉

Well it wasn't that bad.A bit bolder may be with Alekh's leg on top of Sadhana's but I think it was beautifully done! Some serials try so hard and they end up looking fake. But not this one or any other scenes we have seen till now in Bidaai!

hehe ... the scenes are not that bad ... but yes i would feel uncomfortable watching it with my parents

i loved todays scene however!! it was just too good !

if i could edit it when i watch it with my family then i think i would stop it at where alekh brings her to the bed and then the light would go off !!

hehe ... if you think this was bad then just watch a few american dramas !! they are way more explicit 🤣 ....

I will just post what I commented on in the new Bidaai article....and add...
I don't think there is a real problem showing just touchy intimate scenes on small screen. Its usually very well editied and directed where most of it is left to our imagination. As for family drama, well kids shouldn't be watching drama like Bidaai or Kayamat in the first place. There is other stuff out their for them like Chacha chaudhary or Little Champs. And man has created TV remotes that have a great option which allows one to change the channel when things they don't want to watch comes up. Dramas and show biz are here to entertain all types of viewers. Like all buisness, they are also a money making buisness and they need to cater to all types of different tastes. So what one might like might not be liked by others. So its always a hit or miss deal. But we as viewers have the power to watch, read, and appreciate what we want. I agree, bold scenes and intimate scenes are not a part of Indian culture, but its a part of life, and daily dramas portray just that, the lives of these characters which includes these intimate scenes. They are still however modest enough to leave a lot of stuff to the imagination. Yes many times it does appear odd to watch scenes like these on the small screne. But its not that all bad. I agree they shouldn't go beyond what they are showing (no clothing off)...........its just being romantic which many viewers enjoy. Nothing really on TV is part of our indian culture you we really think about it. Everything would be sensored in that case. But its picking what you want to watch. As long as they are not showing me "bega hont tere lai, pasa maan mera" types of scenes I am ok with it. The day that daily family drama gets to that point, I think I won't be watching it with family at least.

bollywood has become more like hollywood these days.....but i'm sure there will be a point when hindi tv serials will change too. I mean its alot bolder than before thats for sure. Just think : Do the youth really like watching the same type of serials again and again. They are still showing these serials like as if the characters are from the 70's or 80's.

Coming back to your point..i totally agree the scene was beautiful and children shouldn't watch serials like bidaai!!!

I don't have kids at home. So I guess I did not feel the pinch. 😊 But I do understand your POV.

Actually older serials in the past have been more bold then this, one of which our very own Vasu and Mamaji have stared in. Seema Kapoor in Hasratein and Alok Nath in Tara (I think), others include Banegi Apni Batt. So bold scenes have been a part of small screen for a very long time. Whether they will get bolder or not, only time will tell.

I saw Hasratein. Its a very bold serial for that time. If they show that serial again, today also it will be one of the boldest serial. The theme is extra-marital affair. Seema Kapoor aka Vasu played the other woman.
Today's Bidaai was shot well beautifully. Yes it has some romantic scenes. But the story is of principles, sanskaars, truth, honesty, goodness.....ect. So when we see other ekta kapoor serials iI get shocked to see main character marrying 3-4 times, faking pregnancy, having extra-marital affairs ....etc, Bidaai is a beautiful story with no vulgarity. One should know the difference between pure love and vulgarity.
The serials are not for children at all. There are so many things in serials which are not appropriate for young kids. It is for fun and to spend your spare time after a day of hard work. Serials are for adult relaxing. Kids have their shows.
