I feel, more than Kaushi or Vasu, it is because of Sadhna, Ragini has become like this. Imagine if there is one person behind us all the time to ensure that we win in every aspect of life, then we will get used to winning/acquiring/getting things/happiness and everything. Ragini without knowing that Sadhna is the reason for her happiness is used to good things and pampering from others. Now also she feels that her self-respect and confidence can come only by winning the competition. She doesnt know win-loose doesnt actually relate to self-confidence. This is what Sadhna has done for her through out.

This is the best example for we parents not to treat our children like how sadhna treats Ragini. Otherwise, children will never be able to take any failures in future. We should make them independent and make them realise that most of the time they are responsible for their success-failure.

You know I was thinking the same thing! Sadhna has a BIG hamd in shaping Ragini's character till now. As far as I know, Ragini has never heard "no" from Sadhna or Kaushi, or even Ranvir for that matter. Our surroundings make a huge impact on our character. Thus Ragini because of her inferiority complex was pampered throughout her life by her mother and Sadhna, especially. So Ragini never learnt how to to deal with problems- she is totally dependent on others. Yes she has suffered because of her skin color, but honestly the smothering love that she received from all did not help. When children fall, you let them get back up on their own, not fall down with them so they can get up or help them get up. If you do, they will never learn and will always have issues adjusting later in life. After Ragini got married, Ranvir also just added to this. Even though he actually tried to explain to Ragini a few times but she didn't listen, I think it's time that she gets a harsh talking to (even though my dream is that Ragini figures all of this out on her own).
Btw this is exactly what we learned in psychology today--Erikson's stages and how not overcoming one will cause problems later. Well, Ragini is a clear example of this!
Sadhna is just as obsessed with Ragini's happiness as is Kaushi, and will do anything for her happiness. But this way, Ragini will never be happy because she will just desire more and more since she is used to getting whatever she wants now! Sadhna can never be happy because of this very reason too! For Sadhna to be happy, she needs to realize that Ragini is a grown individual and it's time that she lives her own life without Sadhna making sure every step of the way that Ragini is happy. Nobody can always be happy-sadness and happiness are a part of life.

there needs to be a balance between two people to start a dialogue. Sadhna can never be straightforward to Ragini, because Rags acceptance quality is very little. Even Ranveer is understanding this slowly. Ragini needs to understand all people will not be like Ranveer or Sdahna to her. She lives in her own fantasy land, whether it is happy or sad. She sets the limit of being happy or sad for herself and decides who to blame. She needs to grow depth in her character, or else, she will lose both Ranveer and Sadhna. This is the fate of people like Ragini, which is very sad. Because they are basically good but they do not have depth to understand who loves them and thus end in sheer disaster. Rags character is a lesson to learn in life....

Especially now that she knows that Ragini won and she has the money.. her own money... she is not even asking the Rajvanch family!! --- i just don't get the daughter doens't even know her mom is sick-- okay fine they never told her but won't you be wondering that nobody from your family is there to watch you??? ---one thing that i hated about Sadhna losing is not because she has to go ask for Vasu for the money and divorce alekh but because when Vasu was talking to Sadhna before the competition she said something about God and wether he would able to help her or not.... so basically the creatives are sending out the message that God doesn't do anything???

--- The whole show is frustrating now--- they better not make Sadhan sign the divorce papers....

The message is not for Sdahna, but for people like Vasu...When God makes the decision for people like Vasu, noone can even think what will happen...it will be unqie. Vasu has challenged that. God will allow Vasu to stoop down another 2-3 levels and then the actual play of God will start. this is what happens in real world also, people do all sorts of selfish and evil acts for years and years and then their suffering starts...
just wait and watch. I wanted to make a post about this issue before but could not find time....

We can't just not tell the truth because someone can't take it! This exact logic is the root cause of Ragini's behavior not improving. She does whatever she wants and everyone lets her because she can't take people explaining what's right to her? How will she ever learn anything then?
@ red Isn't that Sadhna and Ranvir's fault also then? By always agreeing to her whims and fancies, they have helped Ragini become the person she is today. Because she gets her way with Sadhna, Ranvir, Kaushi, she pretty much expects the same from everyone else. Yes that's not right, but didn't Sadhna, Ranvir, kaushi contribute to that in a big way?
