Telly Buzz Team will be arranging a special interview of Rajan Shahi. So whatever questions you want to ask him whether it is related to serial, his career or the cast and crew of his shows you can post them under this thread. We would try our best to include all the questions.

Dear Mr.Shahi,

What does 'strong' mean according to you?It was mentioned by yourself on November 30th 2009 regarding Ragini and how that would be justified in the future episodes.Sadly,we are yet to see 'strong' though its been more than two months.Just saying sorry and hugging her sister wouldn't cut it and it wouldn't change how people view her character whatever Parul or you might say in the articles that we see popping up here.Its really imperative that I know as to how can you change the basic characteristics of a person like that as if the portrayal in the last two years meant nothing?Just for the rift how can you and the team destroy such a character to such an extent that it seems almost impossible to bring her back unless there is some strong reason behind all this?

I know this is my second question but I want to know what does the team think when they see the posts abt Ranvir-Ragini?Why is it always romance or songs for them?Is that the only thing the couple does when they marry?Why does their relationship lack the trust and understanding esp post-marriage?
Thanks and hoping to get your reply on this.If not for both at least for the first question cos that's what disappointed me to the extreme!

I would like you to confirm whether Ragini is also a lead along with Sadhna or not.Honestly speaking this show doesn't do justice to Ragini as a lead.Everythnig in this show is from Sadhna's POV.Your current track has proven that Sadhna is a lead and a positive character whereas Ragini is a negative bystander character.

If Ragini is not a lead then plz clarify at the earliest so that Ragini fans won't waste their time watching this show anymore.If at all Ragini is a lead then I must tell you that your creatives have failed big time as Ragini is the most hated person now and no one sympathises with her.

I hope I will get an answer to this question bcoz you have not been answering it in your blog.And please do not give false hopes and assurances regarding Ragini.

Dear Sir...,
I am your avid bidaai fan.I have asked this question even in your blog.Why is Sadhna targetted always????I am not against any character here infact.Sadhna is a beautiful character so is Ragini.Everytime we get to see Sadhna sacrificing for Ragini and her Family.Its Sadhna the main pillar of bidaai many a times.She is the such a wonderful creation of yours.I appreciate you for that.But at the same time I would like to stress on the point that Ragini is not given enough space in the show in the recent days.I request you to create a storyline wherein Ragini along with Sadhna carry out something very mature and serious.Ragini can also face obstacles in her life.She is capable enough to handle out problems.So please request your writers to create a storyline in such a way that she too gets to tackle with problems..
And As far as Jodis are concerned I love both but I love my RagVir moreeeee.. SaAlekh has a mature love.Even during the times when Alekh was szchiophrenic,there were enough moments wherein in showed the understanding level of SaAlekh though it was in an innocent way.We could still see their relationship getting stronger day by day.( I have nothing to say on SaAlekh current track )
But RagVir shared a beautiful bond of understanding pre-marriage.Even post-marriage too its the same but we arent getting enough of mature love from RagVir ( Just my POV )..All we see is romancing b/w them.Offcourse we enjoy it.Its amazing.Nobody can be as good as them.All RagVir fans go ga ga over it when we see them..Its very true.I am one among them.But along with that we would like to see more maturity in their relationship..

I heard you recently let your CT go. Were they the ones who were responsible for ruining some of the most beautiful characters like CM, Alekh and Ragini in Hindi serials?

If so, why were they not stopped earlier?

If not, what were the reasons you were not happy and let them go?

Do you agree that the above mentioned characters were ruined? Because generally people are what they are and do not change as drastically as these characters changed (no matter what the circumstances)

hello,Rajan sir. I am biggest fan of you and your shows Bidaai & Yeh Rishta. Bidaai is going good but huh Yeh Rishta can't say much . Look at Bidaai TRP bring it back to # 1 please its my fav so FOREVER. I love Old ragini, ranvir and sadhna and mamaji character alottttttttttttt hmm alkeh was much better when he was abnormal. I heard you making movie with parul * kinshuk good to hear that😊. Am sure the movie gonna be rocking so is it bidaai ending😕 Sir i did posted on your blog. sir check it out again this 1 more time

I have 1 more request can you please take Kinshuk & Sara in a new show as a main lead plzzzzzzzzz they both looks really cute togther there are some fans who likes to see sara & kinshuk togther wel but not now but maybe after like a year. Please make a show with them togther.

Sorry 1 more thing. I always want to write a story for the tv shows.If there is any chance you can give it to me & my friend Varsha.

First of all, I'd like to thank Rajan Shahi for giving us 3 wonderful shows in Bidaai, Yeh Rishta, and Swarg and such wondeful characters as well.

My questions are about Bidaai:

1) Why is that Ragini's basic character was completely changed to suit the rift track? Ragini has NEVER brefore been portrayed the way she has been in this track-selfish and uncaring. I mean, you had to show a flashback scene of her childhood to kind of justify her change, but then what about the character that we have been watching since before the rift track? She is the girl who has never, till now of course, doubted Sadhna's love for her: when Sadhna married Alekh, it was only Ragini who believed that there was more to it. All her life, her mother has badmouthed Sadhna, yet Ragini didn't listen, granted she never really stood up for Sadhna either, but she didn't ever believe anything her mother said. She is the one who refused to marry Ranvir because her mother was against the relationship. She refused to buy a lehenga because her dad would not be able to afford it. When her brother was in jail and her parents had been so badly insulted by Vasundhara, she thought about Ranvir's pain unselfishly. Yet now, she is totally different. She never once thought: Sadhna loves me a lot, and has always done everything in her power to make me happy. She has forgotten her maayka: she doesn't care about her father, and she has no clue whatsoever what's happening in her maayka. She is now perhaps the most hated character in the show, and because of this track people are even saying that negative characters like Chotima are angels when compared to her. Why was her character ruined so badly? And honestly, do you really think crying and a sorry will make things okay? You had said that rifts make relationships stronger, but that's not true when a 3rd person has to make one person realize that they were wrong!

2) Why is it that Sadhna ALWAYS suffers and her character is elevated to God-status while other characters are dropped into a pit from where it's impossible to come up? I hope you know that Ragini is not considered a lead by many people anymore because she has become a slightly grey character. Grey characters are never considered to be the lead.

3) When Ragvir fans say they want a Ragvir track, why is it automatically assumed that it means romance? Do married people only romance? Because that's what Ragvir seem to do: only romance.

Thanks for giving us two great shows on tv. I am an avid viewer of Bidaai . Below are some of m questions for you:

1. How long do you think Bidaai will go on? Are you planning to end it after SaAalkeh reunion or will it stretch further?
2. What is the message Bidaai is trying to show? Is it beautiful people often face more hurdles or dark people are not rational enough or it is curse to be an orphan???
3. Are there any other shows in the pipeline? I wanted to request you to direct a light hearted lovestory or a show like Jassi. You did a fabulous job with them.

I also want to take this moment and let you know that please don't get upset when we fans post negative comments in your blog. We post comments because we watch the show and are very passionate about it.

Mister Shahi,

I just wanted to ask you about the character Ragini- a character I loved since I first started watching the show and a character who looks like a ghost from her past now. There is indeed no correlation between the present day Ragini and the Ragini of the yesteryears. The way her character was ruined- was it always planned like this? I know this is just a show- but I didn't think you would portray something as far from reality as this. A character doing a complete 180 degree turn. Was this fair?

Also, if you believe that the current Raginis behavior was what the script demanded- can we have a real good and rational reason that makes us believe and identify with her for what she did. Otherwise, you can make it clear that Bidaai has just one lead and we should not expect the other characters to be sane and rational.

You are a great producer and director.I like your all shows.

here is my question:

when will you start your movie with parul and kinshuk.? Both are very sweet and nice.Their chemistry are different than others.Very nice couple.I am sure movie will hit . Wish you best of luck.

Waiting for your movie.Make nice family , romantic and strong social message type of movie.
