Well, I know... this section is about Bidaai. Its about Saalekh and RagVir ... but beyond that ... its about love, humanity and compassion.

Let us remember our brothers and sisters who lost their lives in 26/11. They were people, and their killers were not. Their killers were darkness. Their killers were waywards. Their killers were criminals.

Let us remember that those who murder innocents have no conciense. They have no soul. They cannot have God. They cannot belong to any land, any nation, any world or any mother or any father or any sister or any brother.

Let us pray, for those who lost their lives so untimely.

LET US UNITE IN GIVING THEM OUR LOVE! Let us unite and PRAY for them. Let us give a moment of our unity ... for them...

Rest In Peace.

You can utter a line from any prayer... or any word you want to share.

Or just click 'LIKE' to the messege (The first/title post).

It will be nothing, I know, compared to our feelings or how we should express them ... but still, it will be something...

I hope this day becomes a symbol of change ,something that shakes us out of our apathy not another photo op for our politicians..

WHERE the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
Rabindranath Tagore

Its been a year since the most shocking & unfortunate event took place...so many innocent lives lost, & so many brave hearts sacrificed for the cause of the nation...Its time to pay homage to all of them & stand united in this time of grief...May all the departed souls & that of our martyrs rest in peace...May their families be bestowed with the strength to overcome the grief of having lost their loved ones...May they be Blessed to lead their lives with strength & courage....

At the same time, its also important to ask ourselves, what have we learnt from this incident? How far have we gone since 26/11/2008?...How safe are we and what measures have been taken to do justice to the thousands of lives lost? Why should our nation spend money for the trial of a terrorist who did not even think twice before taking away so many lives? Shouldn't he be hanged to death? How strong is our judicial system and what can we do as a nation?

Probably these questions need to answered before its too late!

Let us not move away from our purpose in this thread. I know the pain, I know the blow ... its too fresh and its too big.

But let us not forget that the first task is to pay respect today. We have faith in law and order ... that is the difference between us and those who went astray!

Let us pay our respects here. Let us try and pray/write a line or atleast just click 'LIKE' to the first post.

Thank you for your contributions ishtar, luv_sakshi ... and those who clicked LIKE.

Please come together and express your respect. ANY NATION you be from. This respect is not to the dead of one country or nation or faith ... this is paying respect to your own kind. Paying respect to innocent victims of recklessness. Innocent victims of agony.
