Chapter 40
Vasu is having last minute clean ups, so the house is all nice and clean before saalekh arrive. Vasu hears the car stop at their driveway. "Lagta hai woh log aagaye.' Says vasu. The 4 enter laughing and chatting. Aalekh and saadhna see vasu and smile. Vasu walks towards them, aalekh and saadhna take her blessings. Vasu says "kaisa that um dono ka trip?" Saadhna says "bohut acha mummy ji. Aap kaise ho?" Vasu smiles and says "hum bilkul theek hai." Sanjana interrupts "arrey ab sab baatein yahi karoge kya? Andar nahin jaana? Aunty bohut bhook lag rahi hai mujhe." Vasu smiles and says "toh chalo, breakfast karlo...aalekh, saadhna beta tum dono jaldi se fresh ho jao aur dining room mein aajao...hum sab tumhare intezaar karenge." Aalekh smiles and both leave upstairs to freshen up. Ranvir looks at sanjana and says jab dekho khaati rehti hai...main toh yeh soch ke hairaan hoon ki itna khaana khaane ke baad tu itni patli kaise." Sanjana hits him on his shoulder and says "tujhe kya? Main chahe thoda khaun, ya zyada...tera kya jaata hai?" Ragini looks at the two fight and smiles. Vasu says 'Ragini tum chalo, in dono ka toh ab yeh roz ka kaam hone waala hai..." Ragini smiles and says "ji aunty, subah se 3 baar toh lad chuke hai..." Sanjana and Ranvir are still arguing. Vasu says "Sanjana? Beta tumhe bhook lagi hai na?" Sanjana looks at vasu and says "bohut." Vasu says "toh chalo, warna tum dono ke jhagadne ke chakkar mein khaana thanda ho jaayega." Sanju smiles at vasu and gives an angry look to ranvir, Vasu and Ragini leave, sanjana hit ranvir's stomach with her elbow and walks off. Ranvir is holding his stomach and says "chodunga nahi isse...kal dekhlunga. Chodunga nahi bossy. Chodunga nahin tujhe." Ranvir too leaves for breakfast.
Everyone is at the breakfast table, Sadhna and Aalekh both join with everyone at the dining table. Ranvir begins to tease Saalekh about their honeymoon, sanjana hits him lightly and says "tum do min chup nahin baith sakte kya?" Ragini sees this, and has a slight smile. Ranvir says "tum khaaye bina reh sakti ho kya?" Sanjana looks at him blankly. Aaalekh laughs and says "tum dono kabhi nahin sufhroge...aaj bhi tum dono saath hote ho toh aise hi jhagadte ho." Sanjana smiles and says "kya karein bhaiya...purani aadatein itni jaldi jaati nahin...hum dono toh phone pe bhi roz jhagda karte the." Aalekh is surprised and says "phone pe?" Sanjana says "haan." Aalekh looks at Ranvir and says 'ranvir tumne mujhe kabhi nahin bataya, kit um sanjana se roz baatein karte the..." Ranvir says "bhaiya...ab ismein bataane waali kya baat hai?' Aalekh says "arrey meri toh tumne kabhi baat nahin karwayi..." sanjana looks at Ranvir and then back at aalekh and says 'iss chodo bhaiya...yeh kabhi important tha kya? 😆 aap batao...aapka honeymoon kaisa tha? Humein bhi batao na'" aalekh begins to cough, saadhna tries to control her laughter. Aalekh looks at Saadhna, Ragini says "saadhna...kya hua?" saadhna is trying to control her laughter but finally bursts out into laughter. Ranvir, sanjana, Ragini are confused, and look at each other and then back at saalekh. Aalekh says "saadhna..." saadhna still laughing says "honeymoon ka toh pucho hi mat..." Ranvir says "kyun? Aisa kya hua?" saadhna narrates the whole aneesha story, all are lughing besides aalekh. Later on He realises that saadhna knew about him hiding aneesha in the bathroom and etc...Aalekh is surprised and says "tumhe pata tha?" Saadhna giggles and says "Haan pata tha." Aalekh is embarrassed; he has a slight smile on his face as he scratches his head. Ranvir says "toh bhaiya...aneesha dikhne mein kaisi thi?" Aalekh says "meri aang keech raha hai? arre agar maine usse college mein dekha hota na, toh kasam se bol raha hoon, main college chod deta." Everyone laughs as Aalekh expresses his feelings 😆
Ragini gets a call, she tells Saalekh that she has to leave right now as she has some important work, and that she'll meet them tomorrow for holi. Sadhna says "arey Ragini tu mujhe kuch bataane waali thi na?" Ragini says "baad mein bataungi, abhi mujhe jaana hai." she bids oodbye to all and leaves in a hurry. Ranvir watches her leave, sanjana looks at ranvir and shakes her head. Sanjana says "arey bhaiya bhabi, photos toh dikhaaiye..." Ranvir comes back to his senses and says "haan bhaiya...aur mere liye kya gift laaye?" Aalekh says "Chalo." All go Saalekh's room.
Ragini arrives at Saniha's place, Saniha answers the door and sees Ragini. Saniha says "Arrey Ragini? Tu yahaan." Ragini smiles and says "woh karan ne mujhe sms karke bulaya tha, bola kuch urgent hai." Saniha says "oh acha...baahar kyun khadi hai? andar aaja." Ragini enters. "Bhaiya apne kamre mein hai." Ragini smiles. both go to meet karan. Karan is in his room he sees Ragini and smiles. Both hug. Saniha says "ahem ahem...hello main bhi hoon yahaan." Karan smile and says "toh jaa na...mujhe Ragini se kuch zaroori baat karni hai." Saniha looks at both and then says "okay." She leaves. Ragini looks around the room. Karan says "baitho." Ragini smiles and sits on the couch, karan sits next to her. Ragini says "kya baat karni thi?" Karan sighs and says "Dekho Ragini...before we get into this relationship, I want to tell you something. Something about my past." Ragini says "past? Kaisa past?" Karan smiles and says "Ragini, London mein main waisa nahi tha jaisa ki ab hoon." Ragini is confused. "Meri zindagi mein tum pehli ladki nahi ho Ragini...tumse pehle bhi meri life mein kayi ladkiya aayi aur gayi'" Ragini is listening very carefully. "Main kissi bhi ladki ko lekar serious nahi tha...mere liye toh woh time paas thi...lekin..." Ragini looks on at Karan. "...ek ladki thi, jisse shayad mujhe pyaar tha...par woh woh meri zindagi se achanak chali gayi..." Ragini's eyes are wet. "Main chahata tha ki tumhe yeh sab pata hona chahiye, kyun ki main nahin chahata ki aage jaakar tumhe yeh sab kissi aur se pata chaley..." Ragini says "To iss rishtey ko kya kahoge? Karan kya tum mujhse pyaar karte ho? Yah yeh SHAYAD beech mein hai?" Karan moves closer to Ragini and holds her hand and says "Ragini I really love you! Socho agar main tumse pyaar na karta, toh kya tumhe yeh sab batata? Mera yakeen karo Ragini, Main tumse bohut pyaar karta hoon...aur tumse shaadi karna chahta hoon." Ragini is in thoughts. Karan sighs and lets go of her hands and says "Agar tumhe waqt chahiye humare baare mein sochne ke liye toh tumhare paas pura waqt. Main tumse nahin puchunga." Ragini looks on and Karan. Karan is about to leave, Ragini holds his hand and says "I Love you too." Karan smiles and looks at Ragini. Ragini stands up and says "I trust you!" Karan hugs Ragini and says "Ragini main jald se jald tumhare papa se baat karunga." Ragini smiles. Saniha enters and says "ahem ahem...kya main andar aa sakti hoon?" Ragini and Karan break the hug and look towards the door. Karan says "aao sona..." Saniha enters and says 'kya baat hai? bade khush lag rahe ho dono..." Ragini gets a call from home, she says "mujhe jaana hoga...ghar se phone hai." Karan says "Main tumhe baahar thak chod deta hoon." Rgini smiles, she gives Saniha a hug and bids her goodbye.
Karan and Ragini are walking towards Ragini's car. Ragini says bye and is about to sit in the car, but karan holds her hand. Ragini looks at Karan. Karan is slowly moving towards ragini, he moves her hair behind her ears, and holds on to her face with both hands. Ragini is looking at Karan. He is moving forward to kiss her, Ragini quickly gives a peck on karan's cheek and says "bye." She sits in the car quickly and leaves, Karan is smiling. He enters the house full in excitement. Saniha sees this and says "wow bhaiya...aap toh bohut khush lag rahe ho." Karan says "Ofcourse...Maine Ragini ko sab bata diya..." Saniha is surprised and says "Sab?" Karan nods and says "yup!" Saniha says "aur usne kya kaha?" Karan smiles and says "ussne mujhe accept karliya." Saniha is happy and gives Karan a hug. Karan says "aur jald hi main Ragini ke papa se humari shaadi ki baat karne waala hoon." Sniha says "arye bhaiya itni kya jaldi hai? I mean abhi toh humne 2nd yr complete kiya hai...yeh aakhri saal hai...yeh saal toh ruk jao." Karan smiles and says "Ruk toh jaunga...par baat toh karloon..." Saniha smiles and says "okay!"
Saalekh are unpacking, he takes out Ranvir's gits and gives it to him...Sanjana is checking out the photos and says "Wah bhaiya...lagta hai aap dono ne bohut enjoy kiya Mauritius mein." Aalekh says "haan, yeh trip main toh nahin bhulne waala." Saadhna smiles and says "haan bhai...college ki dost jo mil gayi thi." Aalekh looks at Saadhna. Saadhna says "arrey sanju ko uska gift toh do..." Sanjana is surprised and says "mera gift?" Aalekh says "haan tere liye kuch laaya tha...socha ki tujhe courier kardunga, par lagta hai ab iski zaroorat nahin padegi." Aalekh takes out the teddy bear and gives it to Sanjana...Sanjana gets really happy and says "teddy bear. Bhaiya aap meri pasand ko ache se jaante ho." Ranvir says "yeh dekh lo...itni badi hogayi lekin abhi bhi bachi ki bachi hi hai..." Sanjana says "tujhe koi problem hai kya?" Ranvir says "nahin, mujhe kya problem hogi...BOSSY!" Sanjana throws a pillow at Ranvir and says 'shut up okay! Khadoos Kahin Ka" Aalekh says "tum dono phir shuru hogaye." Sanjana says "sorry bhaiya...oh yaad aaya main bhi aake liye kuch laayi thi...abhi leke aati hoon." Sanajan runs to her room and grabs a gift and back to the room. She gives the gift to aalekh, and says "bhaiya yeh aapke liye..." she looks at saadhna "...sorry bhabi...aapke liye kuch nahin laayi...woh yeh khadoos ne mujhe bataya nahi ki bhaiya aur aapki shaadi hogayi...warna aapke liye zaroor lekar aati." Saadhna says "koi baat nahin..." Aalekh opens the gift and sees a watch, he is surprised and says "yeh watch toh...yeh toh wohi watch hai jo tumne 13 saal pehle todi thi..." sanjana smiles and says "yup...yeh woh hi watch hai...maine aapse promise kiya tha na ki main aapko bilkul waisi hi nayi watch laakar dungi...so aaj maine woh promise pura kiya." Aalekh says "tumhe ab tak yaad hai?" Sanjana says "yup!" aalekh smiles and says "thank you." Sanjana too smiles. Ranvir says "bossy baaki baatein chod but teri memory bohut achi hai." Sanjana laughs along with saalekh and ranvir.
Ragini enters the house all smiling. Malti sees this and says "arrey Ragini kya baat hai aaj badi khush lag rahi hai." Ragini smiles and says "arrey bhabi saadhna aur jija ji waapis aaye hai na, isiliye." Malti says "acha? Kaise hai dono? Aur unka honeymoon kaisa tha?" ragini says "trip acha tha unka...uhhh...bhabi main zara thak gayi hoon...thoda araam karloon?" Malti smiles and says "haan zaroor ja." Ragini smiles and goes upstairs, malti too leaves. Ragini enters her room and is smiling. Karan's words keep ringing in her ears about him coming to talk to her parents about their marriage. She smiles shyly when she remembers about the kiss she gave him before leaving. She lies on the bed, has her arms spread out, eyes closed, and whispers "I Love you Karan. I Love You!" She has a slightly laughs.
Ranvir is in his room, doing pushups and thinking about Ragini. He is about to another push up but he sees Ragini lying underneath him. Ranvir is lost in ragini. Ragini is lying there smiling. Ranvir is moving forward to kiss her, but he kisses the floor, and realizes he was imagining Ragini. Sanjana walks in saying "jisse tu ragini ko samajh ke kiss kar raha hai woh zameen hai, ragini nahi." Ranvir sees sanjana and says "tu!" Ranvir sits up "pata hai, lekin kya karoon har jagah mujhe who hi nazar aati hai..." sanjana says "paagal hogaya hai tu." Ranvir says "mujhe bhi yeh hi lagta hai." Sanjana says "chal cha lab soja, kal holi hai, tab usse apne dil ki baat bata dena." Ranvir looks at sanjana and says "pata nahi tere bina mera kya hota..." sanjana says "I know! Chal cha lab soja. Good night" sanjana walks out of the room and ranvir says "good Night!" He smiles and says "kal main apne dil ki baat ragini se keh kar hi rahunga."
Kaushi calls out to others to hurry before they're late. Ragini rushes down the stairs, in a plain white suit, trying to put an earring in her left ear. Her hair are let out. She says "chaliye papa." Pc says "Aisa karo tum chalo, main aur tumhari mom vinu aur malti ke saath aate hain. Saadhna wahaan wait kar rahi hogi na." Ragini says "okay papa. Aap sab please jaldi aa jaaiyega." Kaushi says "Haan tum chalo, hum tumhare peeche peeche aate hain."
Ranvir is sleeping. Sanjana and Aalekh sneak into Ranvir's room with colours. Both have a mischievous smile on their face. Sanjana indicates him to apply colour on him. Aalekh too does the same. Sanjana begins to draw moustaches with the colour, while aalekh applies the red colour on Ranvir's cheeks. Both are trying to be as quiet as possible, yet they can't stop their giggle. Ranvir's whole face is paintined by now. they notice a slight movement in ranvir, so they hide behind a curtain. Ranvir gets out of his bed and heads off to the bathroom. He stands in front of the mirror and stretches out. Both Sanlekh peek through the door. Ranvir sees himself in the mirror and Screams. Both Sanlekh burst out laughing. Ranvir sees its Sanlekh. Aalekh says "Bura na mano HOLI HAI!" Ranvir says "bhaiya...bossy tum dono ko main nahi chodunga." Sanlekh run downstairs followed by ranvir. He bumps into Saadhna, She says "arrey Ranvir kya hua?" Ranvir says "bhabi yeh dekhiye kya hua!" Seeing Ranvir's face Saadhna is surprised and is trying to control her laugh, but all of a sudden they hear another laugh, Ranvir looks towards the door and sees Ragini laughing. He is lost in her laugh, all he sees is her and all he can hear is her laugh, wind begins to blow slightly. Ranvir sees Sanlekh behind Ragini laughing. Ranvir says "nahin chodunga tum dono ko." He runs behind them. Both sagini are laughing. They hug and wish each other. Saadhna says "mummy papa kahaan hai?" Ragini says "bhabi ko toh jaanti ho na kitna time lagaati hai tayaar hone mein...unhi ka wait kar rahe the. Bas woh aate hi honge." "saadhna" calls out a voice. Sagini look towards the door and sees her family. Saadhna smiles and rushes to hug them. Everyone wish each other happy holi.
Outside Ranvir is trying to chase Sanlekh, aalekh manages to get away so Ranvir is only chasing sanjana. Sanjana rushes inside and into her room. She closes rhe door, ranvir hits his nose on the door. He holds on to his ose and says "chodunga nahi tujhe...dekhloonga tujhe." Sanjana is laughing. Ranvir is in the bathroom and washes off the colour. He quickly has a shower and gets dressed in white singlet and blue jeans, he has a white shirt wrapped around his waist, and walks outside where everyone is playing holi.
Sanjana slightly opens the door to check if Ranvir's around at all, when she sees that no one is around, she opens the door and is about to go, but all off a sudden Ranvir throws bucket of coloured water on her. Sanjana is surprised, Ranvir laughs out loud and says "Bura na mano holi hai." Sanjana gets irritated and walks off. Ranvir is sitting there laughing. Aalekh stands in front saadhna with colour. He lovingly applies it on saadhna and says "Happy holi biwi." Saadhna smiles and applies color on alekh and says "happy holi Hubby." Both share a hug. Ranvir comes from the back and puts colour all over on aalekh's face. He says "got ya bhaiya." Aalekh is about to chase him, but he smiles. Simran comes from the back wishing aalekh and saadhna. Aalekh and simran both apply colour on each other, and then saadhna applies colour on simran and share a hug.
Sanjana is walking outside, trying to get wipe away the coloured water. Saadhna sees sanjana and says "arrey tumko toh rang bhi diya." Sanjana says "bhabi, yeh sab uss khadoos ne kiya hai...mujhpe gila rang phenk diya usne." Saadhna says "chalo koi baat nahi, aaj sab maaf."she applies the colour one sanjana's cheeks. "Happy Holi." Sanjana too happily applies colour on saadhna and says "happy boli bhabi." Ragini is standing in one corner quietly, missing karan. Ranvir comes there with colour and applies it on Ragini's face very sweetly and wishes her. Ragini smiles and applies colour on ranvir's face too. Sanjana rolls her eyes and says "iska kuch nahi hone waala."
People are dancing away on holi songs, and having fun. Ragini gets a call from karan. Karan says "hello Ragini tum kahaan ho?" Ragini says "main yahaan sabke saath ranvir ke ghar pe holi manaane aayi hoon." Karan says "acha suno...tum Ranvir, saadhna, aalekh aur un sabko lekar yahaan aa jao...maine yahaan holi ki party rakhi hai...toh tum uncle aunty ko bata do aur yahaan aa jaao." Ragini says "theek hai." Ragini informs Pc and kaushi that karan has invited her and others to Saniha's place for holi. Pc says "acha tum sab jao...hum yahi rukte hain." Ragini agrees and rushes to get aalekh, saadhna, ranvir, sanjana, simran. All 6 leave for karan's house, where all karan's friends and saniha's college friends are there.
Everyone wishes each other holi, karan thanks them for coming. Ranvir looks on at karan, and then at Ragini. Sanjana looks at ranvir and says "ab yeh sadi si shakal mat bana. Aaj holi hai, apne dil ki baat kehne ka acha mauka hai. Aaj toh bol hi de, warna zindagi bhar bol nahin paayega." Ranvir looks at sanjana and says "You're right. Aaj toh usse dil ki baat bokar hi rahunga." He looks at ragini with a slight smile.
The scene shifts to everyone on the dance floor dancing away. Raj says "yaar kuch khaas maza nahi aa raha." He gets an idea and smiles mischievously. He gets bhaag ke ladoos and serves everyone. "Jai Jai Shiv Shankar begins to play." Everyone is high on bhang.

Aalekh to saadhna: "Jai Jai Siv Shankar. Kaanta Lage Na Kankar. Jai Jai Shiv Shankar Kaanta Laega Na Kankar, Ke Pyaala tere Naam Ka piya."
Ragini to Karan: ho Gir Jaungi, Main Mar Jaungi, Jo tune Mujhe Thaam Na liya. Ho Sau Rabb Di."
Ranvir to Sanjana: Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, Kaanta Lage na Kankar, Ke Pyaala tere Naam Ka Piya."
Saadhna to aalekh: Ho Gir jaungi, Main Marr Jaungi, Jo Tune mujhe thaam na liya. Ho Sau Rabb Di."
The guys are all acting funny. Aalekh is dancing around with saadhna's dupatta on his head 😆 Ranvir is doing close dance with aalekh 😆 saadhna takes him away.

Ranvir sees that Ragini is extremely high, he tries to take her home, but she isn't willing to go, but ranvir carries her on her shoulder and takes her to the car. Ragini sis singing "Jai Jai Shiv Shankar..." chuckles "kaanta lage na kankar." Ranvir makes her sit in the car and drives off. The whole time ragini is singing and annoying ranvir. Ranvir is smiling seeing ragini in her own little world. Ranvir arrives at the KN and tells ragini to get off. Ragini gets off the car and says "yeh hum kahaan aa gaye?" Ranvir says 'tumhe ghar ke baahar." Ragini looks around and says "haan, yeh toh mera hi ghar hai. Hehe" ranvir says "tumhare ghar ki chaabi kahaan hai?" Ragini thinks "chaabi? Woh toh main kha gayi, hehe..mere paet me hai, ek minute nikaal ti hoon." Ragini looks at her kameez and tries to shake the key out as she says niko baahar, niklo." Ranvir stops her and says 'Ragini, chaabi kahaan hai." Ragini thinks again and says 'hehe, woh toh maine phenk di" Ranvir says "phenk di? Kahaan phenk di?" Ragini pretends to throw something and says "abhi pehnk di." Ranvir rolls his eyes and looks through ragini's bag and finds the key. Ranvir says "Ragini chalo andar." Ragini says "NAHIN. Mujhe uthao." Ranvir looks around and gives Ragini piggy back ride. He is himself a lil tipsy, and as he's also carrying ragini's weight therefore he unable to walk steady. Ragini says "sambhalo sambhalo neeche paani hai, hum doob jaayenge." Ranvir looks down and sees there's no water, he smiles and says "ragini neeche paani nahi hai." Ragini says 'Hai Hai...main main doob jaungi. Jaldi chalo." After all that trouble ranvir manages to open the door and go indside. Ranvir says "ab toh neeche utro, yahan pe koi paani nahi hai." Ragini says "hai..dekho, itna saara paani hai." Ranvir says "yeh toh gayi kaam se, lagta hai isse kamre tak utha ke leke jaana padega." He goes upstairs to Ragini's room. "Ragini dekho tumhare bedroom mein koi paani nahi hai, tum yahaan pe ab araam karo theek hai." Ranvir puts ragini on bed, and is about to leave, ragini holds on to his hand and says "I Love you!" Ranvir is surprised yet he has a smile on his face, ranvir turns around and says "Kya kaha?" Ragini smiles and says "I Love You!" Ranvir sits beside her and says "ragini main bhi tumse yeh hi kehna chahta tha ki..." Ragini laughs and says 'I Love you! I Love you karan." Ranvir is shaken when he hears karan's name. His eyes are wet. He moves back as he hears ragini continuously saying "I Love you Karan." "Tune Jo Na Kaha plays" He turns around and is slowly walking out the door, his eyes are wet. Flashback of Ragini's moments with Ranvir, and her saying "I Love you karan." He is walking on the streets. He has flashblacks "Jaane Kiski humein Lag Gayi hai Nazar, Iss Sheher Mein Na apna thikana Raha, Puri Chahat se Main Rah Chalta Raha, tune Jo Na Kaha Main Woh sunta Raha."
Ranvir comes to a stop in mid and falls down on his knees. He remembers Ragini saying I Love you Karan, and bursts into tears.
recap: sanjana sees Ranvir is in his room upset, she tries to cheer him up, but ranvir yells at her and tells her to get out. Shocked sanjana looks on at Ranvir and leaves in tears. Ranvir hits the lamp in anger.
