Happy Dussera and "Vijaya Dashami" to all my friends here.
This is the time when we celebrate the triumph of good over evil. This is the time when Lord Shri Ram killed the demon Ravan to free the mother earth from the sins of Ravan.
It is said Ravan does not die, but continues to live in the mind of everyone in the form of adverse qualities like pride, anger, jealousy. Thus, the implication of this in modern dayis .., this festival is a sort of example of how one should control adverse qualities in oneself and kill any bad quality prevailing in us in the form of anger, pride, jealousy and let goodness prevail in all of us. Thats how the world will be peaceful and look happy all around...
