July 17^th 2009 Written Update

The marriage continues and the pundit calls Ragini to tie the ghatbandan. He requests the dulha and dulhan to rise for the pheras, although neither of them does. The family members are confused and Mamaji comes forward to tell them to get up when just then… Alekh screams out for the wedding to stop. Everyone stands up confused, looking back and forth from Alekh to the dulha. Mamaji removes Shlok's sehra, leaving the family flabbergasted.

Mamaji demands an explanation from Shlok, but Vasu suggests that Sadhna should be the one questioned. She goes on talking about how the past few days she's noticed Sadhna becoming more distant towards Alekh and closer towards Shlok. She tells Mamaji that Sadhna was in on this plan, and was only hoping that Alekh wouldn't show up. Mamaji tries to intervene and give Sadhna a chance to speak, but she remains silent. Vasu continues taunting Sadhna and Shlok for trying to ruin her son's happiness while Alekh grows angrier. Shlok silently prays for Alekh to speak up and save Sadhna from this.

Sadhna, still saying nothing, walks towards Alekh. She tells him to listen what everyone is saying about his dost. She tells him that she knew that he would come to stop this wedding. Vasu tells her to stop lying, since everyone already knows her truth. Alekh screams out for her to be quiet, and that she always thinks wrong things about his dost. He reveals that he is the one who wanted Shlok and Sadhna to get married and Sadhna shouldn't be blamed in this. Everyone looks on stunned. End.
