Shlok is actually not Alekh's doctor as far as Alekh is concerned, he is just a friend. Alekh doesnt even know Shlok is treating him, so its actually not a siutation where Shlok can force himself there, and he would not do so, because its not the way to treat an unstable man. How can he rush to Alekh's side when Alekh is not ready to even look at him? Its the height of dangerous to force a skitzophrenic patient to go against his wishes, we have seen what Alekh does when he is unhappy with a tiny thing, and he is in such a state of shock, he has to be allowed to come to terms with his fear for a while.Shlok is the last person he would want to see, can you really see Alekh being forced to talk to Shlok against his wishes?
As a trained pyschiatrist, when Sadhna asked him to go to Alekh, he said he would go later, and told Mamji that Alekh had to come out of his guilt. Now how is that unrealistic? Ranvir and Ragini are his real anchors after Sadhna, even Vasu asked them to look after Alekh and they couldnt stop him from crying but they did stay with him for support. Could Shlok or Chotima stop him from crying because he saw his beloved wife shot? Come on.
Ragini, by the way, couldnt have stayed in the ICU with sadhna anyways, and anyone who has had an operation can back me up that noone is allowed in your cabin, much less hanging around to give you phones and be there to chat with you. Thats actually a realistic showing of hospitals and not some random attempt by the creatives to foce some nice sisterly moments. I can see thats upsetting for a lot of people, but its these tiny details-Ragini doing what she needs to, helping Alekh, and Shlok respecting his friend needing to deal with the guilt before showing up to do doctoring, that makes Bidaai good to watch.
I cannot imagine Ragini throwing herself across Sadhna's bed and crying and doing melodrama when she needs to be strong for her family and jijaji. Noone right now canr each Alekh, he is in a world of his own where his guilt and shame is something he wont even talk about. Give him, and Shlok time.
