Written Update- 6th Feb 2009

Rajvansh House:

Ragini's mooh dikhaai begins and one by one, members of Rajvansh family give their blessings and presents to the new bride. Vasu and Inderjeet gift Ragini a necklace, Avni and Naveen give her a wrapped present(I have no idea what is in it because it was not shown), Pratham and Guni are eager to give their present to their aunt too but Avni asks them to wait till the elders of the family are done. Choti Maa gifts Ragini with Bangles and Chachu gives her Ramayan Book quoting that the book is an apt present for a cultured girl like her; he further gives his blessings to both the sisters saying that they have brought happiness in the lives of their sons and also into their family. Sadhna gives Ragini a small sindoor holding box and wishes that her relationship with the box remains forever. Ranvir is standing at the door while mooh dikhaai is going on, he feels happy for Ragini as she is showered with blessings and smiles on hearing Sadhna's words. Aalekh is confused with the whole 'mooh dikhaayi' concept and asks Choti Maa what is with Ragini showing her face to everyone like they have not seen it before. Choti Maa explains that 'mooh dikhaayi' is not about showing face literally and is actually a ritual where everyone at the new bride's in-laws welcome her into the family by giving her their blessings and a gift as a token of it. Guni and Pratham also give their little gift to Ragini and force her to open their present then and there itself. On unwrapping, she finds a small box which she opens and something pops out of it suddenly, startling her for a moment. Naveen and Avni yell at the kids for playing the prank on her and misbehaving like that; Ragini sweetly requests them not to yell at them as they are children. Guni and Pratham confess that their Chachu was aware of the gift too and that he actually helped them pack it for her. When Ragini looks at him, Ranvir cutely apologizes to her by holding his ears and whispering sorry.

Sharma House:

Malti is waiting for Prakashchand and Kaushalya at the breakfast table hoping that they would come fast as she is feeling hungry. Vineet brings them to the dining hall to have to breakfast; clearly, they are both missing Ragini and have not gotten over her Bidaai yet. Malti promises Kaushalya that she is also her daughter and promises to take care of her like Ragini used to, so that she does not feel her absence. Vineet feeds his parents himself and Prakashchand tells him that he is eager to see his grandchildren now. Kaushalya also concurs with him and tells Vineet that they want to become grandparents now.

Rajvansh House:

Ragini's mooh dikhaai is over and everybody retires to their respective rooms to get some rest, only SaaLekh and RagVir are left in the hall now. Aalekh asks Sadhna why her mooh dikhaai did not take place when they were newly married. She tries to convince him saying that it did take place, only he does not remember it. But Aalekh refuses to believe her saying she is lying and her mooh dikhaai should take place (Ranvir and Ragini who are standing there witness SaLekh's conversation), Sadhna asks Ranvir to explain to Aalekh and stop him as he calls out to everyone. Choti Maa, Satyen, Vasu, Inder and other come rushing wondering why Aalekh is calling out to everyone like that. Aalekh demands that Sadhna's mooh dikhaai should happen now and in the same manner as it happened with Ragini. Everybody is surprised as to why Aalekh is demanding Sadhna's mooh dikhaai all of a sudden. Vasu questions Sadhna on what is wrong with him and why he is asking for all this now. Sadhna says she is confused too and is unable to understand why he is being unreasonable. Aalekh exclaims that he is not being unreasonable; he expresses his dissatisfaction at how his wedding was not as joyful, fun-filled and spirited like Ranvir's was, therefore, his 'dost' should have the mooh dikhaai which was due to her. Choti Maa tries to explain Aalekh that certain things should take place only on right occasions but he argues questioning why then, had they not done right thing when the occasion was there. Ranvir puts an end to all the discussion by coming forward and saying that he agrees with Aalekh and that Sadhna should indeed have the mooh dikhaai now. Sadhna tries to explain to Ranvir that this is perhaps, not the right time for all that but Ranvir tells her that if this is going to make Aalekh happy then there is no harm in doing it. He then asks Ragini what she thinks about it, Ragini concurs with Ranvir and tells Sadhna that Aalekh's demands are fair and more so when it makes him happy. Thus, everyone agrees to carry out Sadhna's mooh dikhaai as well. Aalekh asks Sadhna to sit down and veil her face with her saree just like Ragini did a while ago. Sadhna does it and Aalekh unveils her face (this is a long and beautiful SaLekh moment as Sadhna looks at Aalekh's child like expressions of happiness and joy, with her eyes full of love for him). The mooh dikhaai begins- Vasu and Inder gift Sadhna a necklace, Satyen and Ambika gift her a saree but Avni does not have anything to gift her. Aalekh demands that Sadhna should get a gift from Avni too, she tries to explain him that they did not have enough time to buy a gift for Sadhna. So Aalekh asks her to gift her with anything, but she has to give her something. Choti Maa tells Avni that she will bring something that can be gifted but Avni stops her saying that Aalekh is right and Sadhna should get a gift from her for her mooh dikhaai. Avni gives her own bangles to Sadhna . It is Ragini and Ranvir's turn to give their gift to her; Aalekh asks Ragini how his 'dost' is looking and she responds that Sadhna is unique and there in none like her in this world. She gifts her with the same doll they used to play with, during their childhood. Sadhna hugs her sister overcome with emotions. Ambika feels happy about the sisters' bond.
