What touched me the most in today's epi was the simplicity with which some of the most profound things were shown:

First the way they depicted Aalekh's reaction to learning the truth....Conditioned on years of watching K-shows, we've all but come to expect the earth shattering upon a certain character hearing such a revelation and then over the top reactions, endless draggin on etc. etc.

But the way it was shown in Bidaai....so poignantly simple....Aalekh with his childlike mind handles the situation in such a heart-tugging way that few adults would have managed it.....The way he helplessly says, "I know I'm not normal....lekin main kya karoon"....Angad was very good in that scenešŸ‘....and I loved the simplicity with which Saalekh professed their love for each other as well.....Fantastic scene!

I also really liked the way KC was depicted in this show.....again, most K-show Karvachauths consist of over the top KC parties with deafening mantras or filmy songs playing along....but in this show, we got to see KC being celebrated in different ways by the different couples, and yet it was all again so beautifully understated and simple....Ambika-Satyendra's KC stood out the most....their love shone thru in the most understated of ways! Malti's KC was funnyšŸ˜†.....Saalekh's was adorable! Aalekh with his child like inquisitive nature makes everthing so endearing! And it was good to see Sadhna smile briefly in all this misery.

Lastly, the very last scene b/w Ragini and her father.....such a beautiful scenešŸ‘šŸ‘.....Just the way he comes and places the book in front of her, pointing to a paragraph...."Zindagi kya hai, bas utaar chadhav ka ek silsila.....Insaan ke wajood ke liye zaroori hai har haal mein aage badhna" Such simple yet profound linesšŸ‘šŸ‘......a basic truth of life.....I was just so touched by the way her father explains this to her.....Alok Nath is just brilliantšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

LOL....that he totally is!šŸ˜‰šŸ˜† You watching MJHT as well?

And yes, I too was surprised at how quickly the misunderstanding was solved....yesterday's pre-cap had me worried as did years of watching K-showsšŸ˜†......but Aalekh and the Bidaai team surprised us and pleasantly so!

Well said.. Simple and real.. actually that is what happens in our lives too.. we have some misunderstanding.. and we talk and solve it.. we don't talk to her sisters or husbands forever...we are angry for a while, and than we talk and problem solve..

So much relief from the Kdramas...

Eventhough R and R karwa chauth would have been fun to watch, now If I think about it, that wouldn't have been real.. they are so confused and hurt...

nureat01 - what a superb analysis of yesterday's episode šŸ‘

So glad they are not dragging things.

Loved the way how each couple performed the same rasms, but each in their own ways.

Mamiji the oldest just told Mamaji that he has not eaten anything and should now eat. Ambika was feeding Satyan with her own hands. Aalekh being the sweetest told Sadhna to give some mithai to him as he is also fasting, and Malti as usual thinking about her own self just starts eating like she has not eaten anything since she was born, with Vinu softly telling her that he is also fasting for her. Then on the other hand we have Vasu who does not seem to care to fast for her husband at all.

Ragini looks at her parents while they are performing the rasms, and Ranvir looks at Salekh in way was also very touching.

Really felt bad for Indrajit, he was looking at Satyan / Ambika with Hasrat Bhari Nigahein.

@Anu: I fully agree, i was thinking the same, watching K shows made e expect some other things but the way sensitive situations were handled were beautiful indeed..... and Saalekh scene was beautifully handled also the scene where he breaks her fast was simple and lovely so was Satyen-Ambika and PK simple and beautiful to watch..... I was glued into tv while watching the episode, last scene was beautiful such a simple way to show relationship and handled with such an impact which leaves a permanant impression in your mind... Also i lykd the starting scene, Ranvir cud actually makeout Ragini was "upset"- i didnt expected it also other scene i lykd was he watching Saalekh and smiling and cing his phone, but then now he has to do a lot... coming back yesterday's episode was yet another best episode, we all had done some predictions but the scene and the situations were handled so beautifully and it made u think definetly this show is Must Must Watch!! Am so glad its for an Hour but still i didnt feel when it started and when it ended ya Advertisements irritated me lolzz coz the content was so interesting!!

Yep, I totally agree....it was simple and real! That is the way I would picture a misunderstanding going in real life as well......and as for RR....yes, this wouldn't have been the right time to show a KC b/w them....but their pain was well depicted in the way they were staring at the KCs being performed in their respective homes.

Thank you, Pinky! You mentioned lovely bits from the KC too....I also liked Aalekh insisting on the mithaai being fed to him.....and I was very touched by the way Vinu tells Malti that he's fasted for her as well....Malti is again one of those unfortunate ppl who don't realize the value of what they have....Vinu is a wonderful husband to her!
And I felt bad for Indrajit as well as he looks at AS enviously.....those scenes were very maturely handled....and even the previous argument that he had with Vasu. One can see that Vasu has built up a lot of bitterness within her for various reasons which she's spewing out against poor Sadhan and her family now.

I liked that too!! What was really telling was that the moment he saw her, he instantly opened the door of his car and was about to get out but the light turned green....that instant subconscious reaction says much more than words could about just how much he is concerned about Ragini....and that subconscious reaction carried on till he pulled over the car and started to look for her.....the spell only broke when he couldn't find her again. It's interesting to speculate what he would have done had he managed to actually walk up to her....would he have instantly subconsciously shown concern about her?? Or would he have had a flash of his mother's words in his head suddenly and blasted off at her?
Also the way he runs his fingers over Anamika's name in the phone after watching Salekh's KC.....that was a touching moment as well.
