When we last left off, Mami-ji had just told Sadhna over the phone that Ragni's wedding has been finalized

Mami-ji: Sadhna? Sadhna are you listening?

Sadhna tries to compose herself and make her voice steady

Sadhna: Ji Mami-ji, I heard you

Mami-ji: Aren't you happy beta? Finally the day has come! Listen, the ladke wale are coming for the Roka ceremony day after tomorrow, so make sure you and Aalekh Babu are at the house early. Oh and bring Ranvir Ji as well, he's become such a good friend to Ragni. I know he would want to be there on her happy occasion

Sadhna: Ji Mami-ji… Mami-ji I need to hang up now, Aalekh is calling me. I'll talk to Gigi tomorrow.

Mami-ji: Ok beta, we're going shopping tomorrow for Sarees so come meet us at the mall at 1pm. Take care of yourself

Sadhna takes the phone off her ear and looks at Ranvir, she can't believe what she just heard and she doesn't know how she's going to break the news to Ranvir

Ranvir looks tortured, he can't take it anymore… "Well Bhabi what happened? Was she home? Is she ok? Why didn't you talk to her? What's going on?"

Sadhna shakes her head, "Ranvir come with me inside and I'll tell you everything"

She grabs onto Ranvir's hand and leads him back into the house into her room and locks the door behind her. This is the safest place to tell him, she thought to herself, I don't want anyone else in the house to hear, especially Mummy-ji

Aalekh was at his desk and he looks up and sees Sadhna and Ranvir looking extremely tense

Aalekh: hey guys, who died?

Ranvir: probably me if Bhabi doesn't tell me what's going on

Aalekh sees Sadhna holding on to the wall, she looked like she was going to fall over, he runs over to her and puts his arms around her shoulders and sits her down on the bed

Aalekh: Sadi what happened, you look like you've seen a ghost

Aalekh puts his hand on her forehead and then grabs a glass of water from the table and helps her take a few sips

Ranvir gets on his knees in front of Sadi and holds on to her hand

Ranvir: Please Bhabi tell me what happened, the suspense is killing me

Tears start to fall out of Sadhna's eyes and she tells Ranvir everything Mami-ji said on the phone. Ranvir looks like he's turned into stone

… After a minute of silence

Aalekh: is that all… BIG DEAL… there is no mangal sutra around her neck… I'll go downstairs right now and tell mom and dad everything and then we'll go and ask for Ragni's hand for Ranvir… we're Rajvanchs for goodness sakes

Sadhna: Aalekh don't do anything rash, you know Mummy-ji doesn't think Gigi is good enough for Ranvir, they won't allow it, telling them will just make things worse

Aalekh gets up and walks away frustrated from Sadi and Ranvir

Aalekh: so what do you want me to do, just sit here while my brother is slowly being tortured? Are you telling me that we're going to do nothing and just let that guy take Ragni away? I love you Sadi but there is NO WAY I'm going to let that Roka ceremony happen

Ranvir continues to stay frozen while Sadhna walks up to Aalekh and holds one of his hands tight in both of hers

Sadhna: Please Aalekh don't get worked up, I'm not saying we shouldn't do anything but let's not be rash. Let's think this all the way through. Together we'll figure something out, we brought them together, do you think I'll let anything break them apart?

Aalekh: I say we send a couple of goonde to that guys house and scare him up a bit OR (Aalekh gets a evil smile on his face) better yet I'll go there and rough him up myself

Sadhna looks at Aalekh and raises one of her eyebrows, frowning at him

Sadhna: maybe I should do the planning

Ranvir stands up

Ranvir: ENOUGH! Just stop it. This isn't a joke.

Aalekh: Ranvir we didn't mean…

Ranvir: NO, whatever is going to happen I'm going to do it, there is no way I'm letting Ragni go

Ranvir runs out of the room

Sadhna: Well don't just stand here! Aalekh go after him before he does something he regrets!

Aalekh runs after him, he comes back after 10 minutes breathing heavily

Sadhna: wellll… where is he???

Aalekh: (still panting) either he runs really fast or I'm really out of shape… no more allu parthas for breakfast jaan. I lost him at the marketplace, but from judging from the direction he was headed, I think he's going to see Ragni

Sadhna gasps

Precap: Ranvir is in front of Ragni's house, he sees all the lights on and the family sitting in the living room and starts to walk towards the front door while tears are running down his face 😭

Loved it .👏 It was funny and sad at the same time. Loved these lines:

"Ranvir looks at his phone again, 'she hasn't called back yet, we got into a fight today. I know she's your sister Bhabi but look what she's done to me, I can't eat, I can't sleep, all day long I think about her and all night long I dream about her, it's not fair Bhabi she can't treat me like this'"
