Next up is the couple who love each other so much that they cant stop fighting…guess..guess…bingo!! Vijay comes dancing on Zor ka jhatka haaye zoro se laga!😆Laxmi remembers Mahen's words when he asks her to marry him. She looks confused.
Next up Uttang's voice says, the next no doesn't need any intro. Angad starts dancing to Om Shanti Om title track..Deewangi hai…joined by Tej, Uttang & Randal (hmm..no ande tamatar pls, but Uttang danced the best IMO!😛!)& haila Uttang & Raandal do a couple dance!!😲(do I smell a story here..sniff sniff) Laxmi is reminded of AnXmi's rain dance sequence.. Raandal twirls & lands next to Tej who mouths some words from the song & scares Raandal,(did I mention Raandal looks really beautiful??!!!) but Uttang pulls her & they continue their dance…Shobna pulls a face, then Angad pulls Mahen & others to join in the dance..Mahen starts dancing(really cute..his thumkas were the best…😳) & everyone freezes to watch him. He turns & sees them like that, doesn't care, maaros some more thumkas & everyone joins in!😆Laxmi is just standing in the middle, really sad but v pretty. She imagines Angad singing Aankho mei teri from OSO for her & puts her hand up towards him…just then Mahen comes in front of her & her smile falters. She just keeps looking from Angad to Mahen.
The party is over, & Laxmi is standing next to a window observing the rains. Kajri, her friend from Dharigram(thnx Mona for filling in the blanks for me!!!🤗) comes & tells her that this marriage is not right. She says that its obvious that this marriage is not as per her wishes. Laxmi tries to deny it. Kajri calls her bluff & says that she could read Laxmi's love for Angad in her eyes, though she mouths it in name of Mahen. Laxmi shuts her up saying that I am not suitable for Angad, only someone who is perfect for him will marry him . Kajri says but I never asked whether you want to marry Angad, I only asked whether you love Angad! (Kya boli!!!!⭐️waah waah!!👏) Kajri says that when a person answers questions when they werent even asked, then there has to be something in that person's heart! She says it means her doubts were justified that Laxmi is in love with Angad & wants to marry him. Kajri asks her to say no to this marriage. Laxmi still denies, but Kajri persists & finally Laxmi hugs her & cries her heart out, admitting her love. Laxmi says she didn't want to, wanted to kill these feelings, but was unsuccessful. She goes on to say that she cant break Kaaveri & Mahen's hearts, hence will have to carry on with this marriage. She is despondent & says that her love is one sided in any case & just an incomplete dream. 💔She says Mahen is my fate which I need to accept. Mahen has heard the whole convo…he makes his way to his room…& finally recalling Laxmi's admission, cries.😭 I felt worse for him than for Laxmi… again, Aamir Dalvi…take a bow…u didn't bawl…but the restraint hurt & tears spoke volumes…
Next morning, everyone is getting ready for the marriage. Dadaji,Vijay,Uttang & Kaaveri are packing stuff, when Shobna comes & on asking, says she wont be attending the marriage. Dadaji asks how come. Shobna says that Nisha & her parents are coming to talk about the alliance with Angad. Dadaji says how come today only? Shobna gives her excuse🥱 of Nisha's dad being away for next 1 month & someone needing to be at home. Vijay loses his cool & enquires if Angad is aware. Shobna says yes & tells him to return on time. Before Vijay can say anything, Kaaveri interrupts & asks him to let it go. Vijay leaves from there. Kaaveri asks Uttang to check on Mahen & is informed that he is ready & has gone to meet our favourite sound board…Harsukh!
In Harsukh's room, Mahen sits on the bed, & recalls Laxmi's words. He gets up & is about to leave, but then turns around with a determined look.Thanks Mahen for sparing the viewers & Harsukh from all the monologues!! it was getting to be v irritating!!!👍🏼
Kaaveri is at the door of marriage venue & goes towards the mandap. Angad asks her if everything is ok as he doesn't want to hear complains from the boy's side!! 😆Kaaveri hits him playfully, then he says that he had challenged them…Dadaji, Kailash & Uttang join in too. Uttang says that they are the bride's side & will not leave any stones unturned to please. Just then Mahen & his supporters come. Mahen is restless. Kaaveri goes to put tilak on his forehead but he stops her. He puts it on his forehead himself!😃Cute. Kaaveri just does his aarti & says aayiye Dulhe raja. Everyone gets busy with marriage activities, when Kaaveri is going past Vijay & hears him talk on the phone that he cant leave the marriage & come home. No guesses who he is talking to! 🤪He says that did u seek my permission before calling them, & orders Shobna to keep the phone. Kaaveri goes to him & convinces him to go since his not being at home will give their family a bad name(huh???logic?? someone explain!!) Kaaveri says that they will take care of everything. Mahen in his room is just repeating that the marriage is wrong. Kaaveri brings a decked up Laxmi downstairs. Everyone is admiring her…Angad tum bhi dekho na…waise!! Mahen is repeating to himself that he will have to break the marriage and will have to unite Angad & Laxmi. Everyone is wondering where Mahen is, when he appears. He walks quickly to the mandap. Kaaveri asks him to sit next to Laxmi in the mandap. Mahen takes off his pagadi & refuses. Everyone is shocked.Kaaveri goes up to him & says don't worry, nothing wrong will happen, no one will touch him. Mahen says its wrong. Dadaji says whats wrong, we can get a solution. Angad looks at Laxmi & asks Mahen the reason for him saying no. Mahen says that he doesn't want to do this marriage. Laxmi stands up. Everyone is shocked…guess the CVs wanted to show that their color drained, which is why we were shown everyone's faces in black & white!!😆
Precap: Angad is asking why Mahen doesn't want to marry & Mahen shouts that because Laxmi is characterless! He gets a resounding slap from Kaaveri. Kailash is frantic & is talking to Angad that after what happened today, who will marry Laxmi, will u marry her? Angad is astonished. So is Laxmi.
Comment: Guess from next week we will see how Angad falls in love...& somehow Mahen is going to be sent away...he was being eased out of the serial as we heard...Shobna...the POA will be yours...but so will Laxmi...u r going to get a double heart attack & i for one, cant wait!!!
